Fantastic and friendly staff, will definitely return!I had the Shrimp Caesar and my friend had the rockfish tacos! Highly recommend!

awesome casual place with the most amazing fajitas I have ever had in my life!

It’s our first time today. We got lucky coz every time we’ll go there the wait is always long. We had a good experience, the receptionist is very nice and very helpful too bad we forgot to ask her name. Our server is very good and welcoming too. And the food didn’t disappoint us. So happy coz this restaurant is just a walking distance from our place. We will definitely go back and recommend this place to our friends.

Errrr-ma-god! This place was absolutely delicious! Food was fast the place was clean our waitress was super friendly and the prices were spot on. Visiting from Florida and I couldn’t of been happier with this suggestion. I’ll be back!

Cute environment, but a little tight. Not much room to physically distance if you are still concerned about COVID. The wait was long but the taste of the food made it worth the wait. Overall this is a good place with a unique twist on Mexican food.

The brisket is outstanding. I got the brisket tacos and the grilled onions and peppers were perfectly done. My boyfriend got the brisket enchiladas and they were gone in a heart beat. Overall the food was good.I was really disappointed in the "hotsauce" and salsa as it tasted like marinara with a hint of smoke. If you like spicy DEFINITELY ask for the habanaro hot sauce... That'll kick it up a notch.Lastly, granted it was busy but only saw our server one time and that was to hand us the check. ?Overall worth trying. Great flavors.

Cute place! Arrived at 5:40pm on a Saturday and waited about 25 minutes, it was pretty full the whole time we were there. I had the Roasted Fruit mojito and the Senorita cocktails, both were fantastic but I loved the mojito. The stuffed little peppers app was hands down the best thing I've had in months. I had the carne asada and my partner had the rockfish tacos and we enjoyed the mains very very much, though the rice and black beans sides were meh and could use more flavor. Our server, Cat, was delightful and we had an amazing time. They didn't have many non-alcoholic options for my partner, but Cat suggested the Topo Chico with lime and he liked that a lot.

Excellent - some of the best Tex-Mex I've eaten anywhere - including Texas! The Cheese Enchiladas are especially tasty, and they're frequently a weak spot for Tex-Mex restaurants.I lived in Texas for 25 years, including most of my childhood, and I LOVE Tex-Mex. I also have some pretty strong opinions about what REALLY GOOD Tex-Mex is, and this qualifies. It's higher end, not your typical hole-in-the-wall fare, but don't let that scare you off. The addition of BBQ from Jack's (a seriously good BBQ joint that stacks up to anything in Texas) and you get some really amazing flavors. It's not cheap, but it's totally worth the money. The space is a pleasant place to be, the staff are very nice and helpful (hi Graham!) and the overall experience was great. Jackalope is a great addition to the neighborhood!

I’ve been very excited to try this place.Today is my birthday and all of my friends are out of town. I wanted to treat myself. So I decided that today was the day to try out Jackalope. It was really busy so there was a 30 minute wait.In order to pass the time, I decided to walk down to TuttaBella and get some gelato, because it’s my birthday and they have really good sorbet. After 15 minutes had passed, I received a text that my table was ready. I walked back down the block with my barely eaten gelato, I was promptly seated, looked at the menu, and waited to order. While the restaurant was busy, the waitress came pretty fast and grabbed my order. I ordered the carne asada and a shot of tequila, because it’s my birthday!!!The chips were tasty. I got my shot. Took it, and then left to go to the bathroom. I was gone more than 3 minutes, but less than 5 minutes. In that short amount of time, they cleared my table. My glass of water?Gone. My chips?Gone. My half eaten, $6 container of lemon sorbet? Vamoosed.I don’t know why the waitress’ first inclination was that I dined ‘n dashed.Management didn’t know what had happened. They offered to bring back some chips and another shot. But what is the point? Why did they automatically assume the worse? I really wasn’t gone that long. Why would they clear the table? What is the point of drinking two shots of tequila by yourself?I just wanted to pay for my shot and leave. They comped the shot, so now I’m in my car writing this.I just wanted to spend my birthday with friends and I couldn’t do that. You shouldn’t spend your birthday at home, moping. So I did the next best thing of going out and treating myself. But now I’m teary, moping in my car, out some really good gelato. Happy Birthday to me!Jackalope, you really, really suck. I don’t know what issues you have, but you should get them worked out. Here is the picture of the gelato they threw out.

Delicious food! The little stuffed peppers were amazing and our favorite! Loved the brisket enchiladas, nachos, chips, salsa, Chile Relleno, and quesadillas. Great service as well.
