First time, and ABSOLUTELY ❤❤❤ it; the atmosphere, the staff and most definitely the food and drink ? Their oxtail stew is amazing - meat falls off the bone. The plantains brings back memories of my mom ❤❤❤ I will for sure return, soon!
This restaurant was too expensive for the overall quality. We ordered gumbo, collared greens and a rum cocktail. I think this bill came out to nearly $40. We didn’t feel the food or drink justified that price point. Service was great, however.
Food was excellent and the generous portions were great for lunch the next day, too. Definitely will be back soon!
I must confess that surely she is a skilled professional trader and the best among all, as her clients all said, I saw so many positive reviews about Mrs Mrs Mariel Ramsey, and she managed my account after I Invested $1000 and got a successful withdrawal of $10,200 within few days of my investment, "It always seems impossible until it’s done"., with Mrs Mariel Ramsey your hard-earned money is 100% secured/Safe You can contact her via Email: [email protected] WhatsApp +19736928825.
Not bad portion size for their food. I don’t get why the cocktails are so expensive in this place—and apparently everywhere in Seattle now. They got outside seating which is not ideal during the cold season, but inside is big and they got booths.
This was such a tasty treat. The oxtail were sooo good. That jerk chicken was spicy! I could not get enough of the chicken wings. I will visit this spot again.
I first went to Island Soul when it opened years ago and loved it. I hadn't been back since a couple of years before Covid. It was a lovely, local feeling place with a Carribean feel. The sons of the original owner have kept most of the food but turned it into a same-old, same-old noisy pub type place. Not a spec of Carribean soul. At least six big screen TVs showing sports. The background music wasn't turned up too high, but the crowds and reflective walls and ceilings overpowered any music. We had to shout across our table to be heard. Also, the seats are hard wooden benches. Very uncomfortable. As I said, the food was good and the portions very generous. We had two mains and one extra side for three adults. Bottom line: I'd happily take out food from Island Soul but never eat there inside again. Outside might be OK when it's warmer.
Establishment is small but it's worth the wait. The food was extraordinary!! Service was excellent. This will be my go to for Caribbean food.
Great cocktails and friendly staff!
Definitely had better Carribean food than this. The rice and peas were not very flavorful. Curry chicken was ok too. The habanero wings were good.
