Good vibes, friendly staff, nice interior, awesome food, reasonable pricing, what more can you ask for?Personally I loved the rice cake, lamb ribs and meatball! My baby girl loved the pita bread. It was a lovely night for our family here.
Everything we ordered had its own special flavor and taste. It was a fun eating experience. Well worth the $$. We even started to get rained on and our waitress was able to get us inside the bar during their busy hours. 10/10 would recommend.
First time posting a review here, and that’s just how good it is. Amazing service, super cozy ambiance, and tasty food. The top 3 spreads is a must get - the hummus was so creamy and flavorful; labneh was smooth and light, with a slight sweetness from the tomatoes and mint that adds a refreshing taste. My friend LOVED the house meatballs (made with lamb and pork), and she did not waste a single drop of the broth. I personally enjoyed the smoked kohlrabi; it’s a cold dish with an apparent smokiness and thinly sliced pear that adds a sweet and refreshing layer to it. Not sure what the sauce was but it seems like some kind of root vegetable puree (loved it though). The only disappointing dish was the roasted rapini; it has a really bitter aftertaste (from the rapini) and even though the whipped feta and dates helped with covering the flavor, it still wasn’t enjoyable…Don’t miss out on their drinks! The zeus juice was incredibly smooth (and not too sweet) with a tangy flavor from the lime and lemon. They also have a pretty decent wine menu so do check it out. Lastly…the soft serve. The flavors were spot on - the nutty flavor of pistachio and sweet yet citrusy flavor from the orange blossom. I personally like my soft serve super creamy so I thought the texture could be improved. Other then that, it was an amazing dessert to finish off our meal.
Everything I have ever wanted. So delicious. Not pictured but the LAMB was to die for. Soft serve was also crazy. As a college kid eating bland food the flavours here were amazing.
What a delightful spot! The team here is so friendly. We had to wait about 15 mins beyond our reso time for the table and they kept us very updated, and even treated us to a drink on the house. Very unnecessary but it's the extra touches! The hummus was life-changing , and everything we ate was very tasty. Loved the design of the place too. Thanks for a great meal!
so, so, so, SO SO good. wish i could give them six stars. one of the top tier restaurants in seattle - and they have phenomenal cocktails that pair well with items on their menu. their dishes can range from small bites, shared plates, and filling entrees. the space is comfortable and the staff is lovely. just be kind - it's a hard time to be working.
Strong flavors, amazing combinations, great service. The black cod with black garlic, pickled onion, and charred cabbage was divine. The smoked shaved kohlrabi was a bit heavily smoked for my taste, and my dining partner found it overpowering, but all the other dishes were lovely.
I wish I am as amazed as all these 5 stars reviewers. We had roast chicken, black cod and what you see in the picture. The grilled sourdough was amazing, the rest, including the drinks are just ok. Everything tasted fresh but the seasoning were off.I had their soft serve a couple weeks ago and that was good!
Went here for a dinner on a cold rainy weekday. They have lovely cocktails. Food was exquisite! I really liked most of the things on their menu especially all things lamb. Our server was super helpful in suggesting us what and how much to get.She also gave us a run through of all dairy free and gluten free options. My only qualms with this restaurant are with some technical aspects. I wished their tables were a bit more apart so there is room for easy circulation. The menus were a paper print which we really stained by the end of the meal. Best ways to waste paper is to laminate the menu. This is just a tiny critique. We loved the ambience! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for healthy food.
If you are visiting for the first time, do take the kitchen counter seat only, the best way to not only admire the food but perfect way decide what you want to order next. This is definitely one of those places where you have to order at least 3-4 things to enjoy the fusion of charcoled stuff, fresh veggies and tangy spices. Their pita bread is just perfect with smooth and silky hummus with chickpea just takes it to another level. Cauliflower was good but just little tangy for my liking with aioli and winter citrus. Barbecued beet root texture is just so crispy and soaked flavors of garlic brings it to life. Fresh dill with pomegranate brings freshness and crisp to the dish.
