The waitress took forever to get our order. Even after ordering our drinks and food together, the drinks didnt come until 30 mins later. Some of the food that came in was very bland and never liked the flavor on any of the items. It was suprisingly quite where we were seated which was almost at the rear end of the restaurant and vibe was very dull.
We were a table of 5 in the wonderful atrium and ordered 5 different main dishes, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed!
Suggest by my little sister and pleasantly surprised. Small but powerful menu. Service food and drinks were superb. Worth the drive or walk!!
Not your average cocktail joint. If you want a very unique drink with complex depth of flavor and bartenders that can explain it to you, this is the place to try.
I was looking for a place to meet friends near a light rail station and stumbled on this spot, in a neighborhood I don't normally spend a lot of time in. Can't wait to go back!! The staff and service are top notch. The atmosphere is AMAZING, the ceiling tiles and interior decor give it a super classy, pre-WWII flavor, and there is a wonderful, covered back patio to enjoy when the weather is nice. The endless list of drink options was astounding (Absinthe? Meletti Annisette, Pisco Sour? and of course all the normal things too). The food was absolutely delish as well, they have meat dishes, but we just got a handful of small vegetarian plates, the green goddess salad, zucchini fritters, roasted yams, and saffron arancini, all so tasty.
We were very pleasantly surprised by this great little bar with a big atrium in back. Cocktails and healthy menu were highlights. Thoughtful and attentive service. We'll return.
Some of the best food I've ever had, the burrata and pear salad which is pictured below was a surprise delight.Also very sizable portions which was nice.Service was sparse at times, partly because the party of 7 sitting next to us wanted separate checks, but our server was very friendly and cool.
