My family had a wonderful overnight stay here. The room and bathroom was well appointed. We got room service for breakfast that the kids loved. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!
The hotel is wonderful and the location is great a short distance to Pikes Market. The staff is warm and friendly. Chris Ruth’s is a nice on site restaurant. Starbucks is on site to right off the elevator how great is that?
The room was clean. The staff was helpful. I highly recommend staying here. We stayed here before our cruise. Because it was so nice, we canceled a reservation at another hotel after the cruise. We stayed an additional few days at this hotel.
Great location, great valet service. All thumbs up to the valet team they were awesome and friendly. I broke a glass and asked room service to clean it up they did but all they did was take the bag I had picked up the broken glass and put it in. They didn't attempt to sweep up the rest of the broke glass around the floor the next morning my wife stepped on a broken glass and cut the bottom of her feet. I had to ask front desk for bandages and told them what had happened so they sent room service to clean it up. All we got was the bandages that's all. Room service definitely needs to improve when it comes to sweeping and cleaning the floors.
My 12-year-old son and I travel to Seattle from New York City for a 3-day weekend because the Pokemon Go Festival was being held at the Seattle Center. From the moment we entered the hotel which was late Friday evening, the front desk staff of Gary and Kennedy made us feel welcome from the first moment we entered the hotel. They showed a genuine interest in why we were in Seattle and accommodated Us in every way possible. Even my 12-year-old son turned to me and said."Dad. Is everyone in Seattle is nice as they are? This is the best hotel ever!" That says a lot when a 12-year-old kid takes notice to the way we were so warmly welcomed! The Grand Hyatt is lucky to have to exceptional employees like Gary and Kennedy and that's a business owner myself I can appreciate and recognize employees that care and take pride in their jobs! Thank you once again!
I used to love staying at the grand hyatt, so much so that I got married there on 2008. I stayed for my birthday this past weekend and was disgusted with upkeep of the room. I booked a corner king which was over $500. When I got to my room the phone was broken, the cabinets and furniture had scratches and large holes in them. The carpet was dirty and the shower had mold. Plus there was no coffee maker. The staff was very nice but that's about it. I don't think I will stay here again.
Great hotel! Very comfortable and the room was spacious. Bathrooms are beautiful with a nice big tub. The front desk staff were super nice and the hotel even wrote my husband and I a card for our anniversary. It was the sweetest touch!
Grand Hyatt gave us an upgrade to King Suite to celebrate our little ones birthday week during our stay at Seattle... Well.. it didnt stop there.. they also handed a choclocate box, birthday greeting and a stuffie and made my little ones stay memorable. Thank you Grand Hyatt staff and Concierge service for such a thoughtful welcome :) There was no swimming pool at this facility but were offered pool service at their Hyatt hotels down the street (gathered that there were 2 or 3 other Hyatt hotels in and around). The bath tub in king suite is everything we wanted after being out and about .. and so we didnt miss the pool much.!
The greeted us warmly and provided us an unexpected and free early check-in - lifesaver with a baby! They also provided a pack n play crib along with baby products. The bathroom was basically a personal spa. Every staff member was beyond friendly and accommodating. We were also able to secure a late check out giving us time for one more nap for baby to be refreshed before we had to leave. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend. Also has made me a Hyatt evangelist.
