Georgia's Greek Food Truck is amazing! We booked them for a private birthday party at our home, and we had such a positive experience from start to finish. The owners, Laki and Greta, were great to communicate with and flexible about finding the right spot in our driveway to set up the truck. Laki even came out in person a few days early to check out the property and finalize the menu. On the day of the party, their beautiful, new food truck pulled up- sparkling clean inside and out. The food was delicious and our guests of all ages were raving about their meals. Very reasonably priced for the value and quality of food and courteous, friendly service. We highly recommend them to others for private events, and will definitely hire them again in the future. Thank you, Laki and Greta!
It's a pretty good Greek place, I am not a great coneseur of Greek food but this is one of the best I have been to
I used to live in Greenwood back in the day (1995-2003), and Georgia's was our Go To place for great Greek food and a killer weekend brunch. So, you can imagine how thrilled I was to discover there were moving to my new neighborhood, Maple Leaf! They just opened recently, so tonight was our first time enjoying dinner from this wonderful family restaurant, and now it will become our new Go To! For now, they are only offering delivery and take-out, but hopefully they'll be able to accommodate some dine-in service in the coming months. We called in our order and then picked it up, avoiding the 3rd-party delivery service. They have parking in the back of the building (off of 14th Ave NE), which makes pick-up a breeze. Everything was packaged really well to get home safely and still warm. And the food was amazing!! We ordered 3 mezethes (small plates), and at only $10 each, the portions were surprisingly generous: * I've been waiting all week to try their octopothi (octopus), and it did NOT disappoint. This is something I will order every single time, for sure. It was tender (could cut it with a butter knife) and perfectly sauteed and seasoned, with lots of garlic and lemon. The capers were a surprising and awesome addition. Absolutely delicious! * The kalamari is probably the best I've had in Seattle. I spent 4 months on the Turkish coast last year, so I know what good kalamari is supposed to be like, and this is it! Large cut rings with the perfect light and crispy breading. They were served with a skorthalia dip (made with potatoes, garlic, olive oil), as opposed to the typical tzatziki. Perfect! * The dolmathakia (stuffed grape leaves) with tzatziki was simple and delicious. My son also ordered the Greek Burger, which I gave him a little bit of a hard time about. Teenagers! But in his defend, it looked amazing. It's made with both beef and lamb, and it's served on a brioche bun topped with feta cheese, greens, tomatoes, and an amazing sauce. He loved it! Greta, the lovely host, was a delight. She said they've had this family business for more than 30 years now. The Octopus is amazing! One of the best octopus dishes I've had. It is cooked to perfection.The desserts are so delicious have to limit ourselves to just one when we go there.So glad they are closer to my house now.
