This place was okay. Not the best but not the worst. Food was prepared quickly. Workers were nice and professional. The Korean short ribs were bomb and the rice was actually good quality. Everything else was bland. Probably wouldn’t recommend.
We made reservations and was able to find street parking within 1 block of restaurant. The staff was attentive but gave us our space. We asked for recommendations and they asked us what we like and provided recommendations based on our response. Excellent offering and we really enjoyed the sushi. Overall great experience. The place seemed to be mid size so I would recommend reservations. They also have a Instagram page where they post a lot of what they offer.
This was the 3rd place we walked to that was open an hour ago.Sat at the bar, ordered everything we wanted and omg, sooooo delicious!Prices are $$ but they are worth it, speciality rolls are 8 pieces, alot to share with my booski. We didn't order drinks but they have a good selection! The flaming amazingness is lobster, snow crab and some amazingness, I believe it was $27 BUTTREAT YOURSELF!You deserve it beauties!
This place has excellent sushi and a great ambiance. The staff was friendly and helpful. I got the two sushi rolls lunch special, it came with miso soup and tea. The tea had green tea and brown rice and was super delicious. The Sushi chefs were all dressed out in fancy chef attire. They have a private room where you sit on the floor and eat. No shoes allowed in the room, even the server removed his shoes before entering.
We tried to get in here a few years ago but it was too busy. Now I see why!! Their fish quality is very high. We always test a new sushi restaurant by ordering the sashimi. The plate came with 9 different types of fish. Two "huge" pieces of each type. Every bite was so good....creamy...buttery...melt in your mouth..just delicious! Also ordered a Bento box. Tempura was light and crispy, fish perfectly cooked also delicious. We will definitely add this to our restaurant rotation.
Happiness in Seattle! Had a variety of sashimi and fish was really fresh and portions are really big. Beef sukiyaki was really good. Make sure you try it. The tonkatsu ramen was a must try as well. Korean grilled short ribs was good as well. A really good Japanese resto. Staff were friendly. Restoraunt felt a little cramped but you come here for the food.
A couple of friends invited me here for dinner. I had a hard time choosing what to order as the menu was extensive. I ended up ordering the $24 Bento Box with the added sashimi to taste the variety. Everything was tasty with plenty of leftovers. They have some specials listed on the board. The others ordered a udon noodle along with a few appies – Agedashi Tofu, chicken karaage (tender meat that wasn’t overcooked), shrimp tempura roll, & assorted tempura.Unfortunately the tables were too close for my comfort. The woman next to our table was obviously coughing & sniffling away with no partition between the tables. I lost my appetite after that. Service was courteous and prompt. Prices are a bit on the high-end such as the sushi rolls.
We came in on a Saturday night without a reservation and they found us a sushi bar spot right away. Excellent service and food! Beautiful dishes kept rolling out in front of us the whole time! Will most definitely come back to try more options! Yum!
