I love the pastries here! The pear croissant was to die for and I've definitely had dreams about it... The shokupan from Fuji bakery is really good and their sandos look good- though I haven't had one (yet!).
Amazing croissants and bomboloni (malasadas)espresso can be improved. Worth a trip.
I was actually searching on the web for good Hawaiian spots to eat in Seattle, which got me at one point looking for good malasadas. Fuji Bakery came up a popular recommendation. Since I was planning to be in the International District, I stopped by. When we first got there, they only had 2 flavours of malasadas, neither of which really appealed to me. But they suggested I come back when more come in. So we wandered around and came back about 45 minutes later. They did have more varieties so we bought 3 different ones. We took them to our car, and ate them right away. And yes, they are good! Certainly worth a stop. Mind you, my standard of reference is a Leonard's Malasada (Oahu, Hawaii), which are fantastic and made to order. The ones at Fuji seem to be brought in from somewhere else. The Fuji ones are good, but not straight-out-of-the-fryer fresh good. But I would still come back!
The ube donuts will not disappoint! We've had a few others as well and they're all excellent. The customer service is top notch, too! Once you try it, you'll be back. But get there early cause they go fast.
Fabulous pastries in a nice window display. They are doing window service during the pandemic. My almond croissant was perfect. The drip coffee is a DARK roast.
Tiny corner bakery has lovely selection of pastries; croissants, malasada, tiny doughnuts and cheese bread, among other things. Well made great price, good quality and friendly service.
My husband and I really enjoyed the donuts we ordered today. We got a matcha donut and an ube donut. They both were so delicious. We’ll definitely be back!
Delicious baked goods that taste amazing and of high-quality. Pictured are the curry-pan, azuki malasada, and their signature "Milk Stick!" I will definitely be returning!
We dropped by to pick up some pastries for home and there was a line outside Fuji Bakery. Everything looked good; we chose an apple pie croissant, a matcha malasada and a custard bread. The croissant and malasada were excellent, the bread was ok. But the 2 more than made up for it. The croissant especially is one of the flakiest croissants we've had. We will be back for more!
One word. Phenomenal! The donuts are unique in flavor and just the right doughy to creamy texture
