This place definitely has that seattle vibe. And has a bunch of awesome local art. If I lived in the area I'd get my coffee there everyday.
The soups and grilled cheese we had were pretty good, I would definitely come back to try more soup. The staff was nice but it took about 25 minutes to get a couple cups of soup and a grilled cheese despite only 2-3 other customers stopping in to pick up food and the place was empty. Maybe they're doing a lot of online orders ?♂️
Favorite West Seattle coffee shop. It has a great community vibe, servers are friendly and kind, and the sandwiches are delicious (they can even be tailored for vegan/gluten free). Indoor and outdoor seating available, and it's quiet enough inside to telework from.
Ordered food and the 3 people behind us got their food before us. Also, the coffee sizes make no sense at all. That’s not all, they completely forgot our order and had to ask us what we got. Food was decent but not worth the wait.
One worker I that owns a dog come up to mine does not take care of it. and put her cigarette on the counter when coming in when I wanted to get a coffee I rejected it BecUse of the bacteria and how much you guys don’t clean everything in there it is disgusting and gross you need to do a lot of cleaning and purging and making sure you have gloves on when doing people food. I. Sorry but this is true honest you should be closed down you take care of you self more than. The customers and ignore us
My ham and cheese sandwich was amazing! Dijon, sautéed onions, perfectly toasted bread, and quality ham.The front end staff was friendly and patient while I figured out what I wanted. They even put sprinkles on my daughter's hot cocoa (she keeps talking about how sweet they were and it made her day).
When asked about why they don't wear masks in a private message, one of their reasons was to help people who had family members who committed suicide. An absolutely DISGUSTING response, to blame a tragedy on your own ignorance and stubbornness is just plain horrible. There are plenty of other great coffee shops in the neighborhood that actually care about the safety and wellbeing of their customers, and won't use your trauma as a cop out.
Terrible! We went to pick up some soup to go. There was one person working there and they were doing everything except taking care of customers. He was messing around, goofing off with customers, screenshotting things on his phone. Over 30 minutes and we left without our soup because we were just fed up. Maybe the soup is delicious but we’ll never know because I will never go back here again!
Antivax and antimask establishment. Also had very rude and extremely unprofessional response when someone (not me) asked why their staff was not wearing masks. Quite embarrassing. Definitely won't be getting my business which is unfortunate since I work so close.
