Great business that's been around Ballard for over 20 years. Next door they have a bakery "Larson's " - Both business' have superb quality and service. Highly recommend

I've been shopping at this store for years. Appears the quality and freshness has gone downhill. I'm not sure if it's because change of owners or because of the pandemic. Yes the price is high but for quality & freshness that's expected. Last year I purchased some spotted prawns from AK and it was a big disappointment...most of them were mushy and old tasting. A couple days ago I purchased crab cakes which I've done a few times in the past, also some salad shrimp from Oregon. The crab cakes were just ok , the shrimp was old and after a day I had to toss out. I will have to find another place to get better quality and freshness.

Not that special. A relatively limited selection of fish, which was a little dried out in the cabinet. Staff weren't that helpful/knowledgeable about products. Prices were very high.
