This place called to me from the hotel lobby so we stopped in for a quick piece of chocolate. Very glad we did.

We had to visit this fancy chocolate shop while in Seattle since we kept passing by it while walking to and from our hotel and boy are we happy we did! The store itself is very pretty and the staff was friendly and helpful. I tried a few pieces and my favorites were the salted caramels. They were simply delicious! If you like chocolate, this place is a must visit while in Seattle.
We love to come for the drinking chocolate! The owner is always so nice to us, and there's always something curious and fun to check out while we're there.
These chocolates are not worth the price. I bought 20 pieces of caramels from a store at the airport in Seattle for $50, $10 more than at their store. They say on their web site that "nothing is more important than your complete satisfaction." So I thought I could return the chocolates (missing 1 piece) for a refund. Well they don't give refunds if not their chocolates aren't bought at their store. So if you're thinking this is too pricey for a yummy chocolate, you're right. I love See's and Ghirardelli. I will stick to the chocolate that I know. I've also tried Seattle Chocolate & it's not bad either.
It's a cozy shop in the pike place area situated at the water front in Seattle selling good quality chocolates of different flavors. I loved their fruit combinations which are seasonal. It's a good gifting idea !!

Mrs. Obama gets her chocolate from here, so we have to try it too?.This place is attached to the Four Seasons hotel on First Ave., look for the hotel and you'll find Fran's. My family think it's one of the best chocolate they had, I think it a little above average, you be the judge. They offer a sample when you walk in ?. The place looks like it should be selling expensive jewelries.
Knowledgeable staff mixed with delicious organic chocolates! They are well versed in allergens and happy to help find the right mixture of treats. My one issue was with the espresso being a bit on the blond side, but that is just preference, and my preference is quite dark. It was not bad, and also not super blonde, kinda medium for me.
