Probably the best bar Iâve ever been to. Drinks were out of this world, free delicious snacks, and the waiter was fantastic (really good conversation with him about drinks and whiskey). Iâm going back asap.
Had to rate food here but did not eat. So this is a bar review. Fun concept to have a hidden (speakeasy style) bar within the Fairmont. Drinks are a little pricy but for that you get good space, a show from the bartender, and a feeling of exclusivity of being hidden away from the din in the lobby bar. Enjoyed it.
Well there is no food there that I could tell when we asked for snacks they brought us some cashews which I guess is better than nothing. If you are going to do a bar like this with uber expensive drinks seems like you should have some light snacks. I will certainly not go back as it cost my husband and I $50 for parking as we met there. That is just too cost prohibitive. They should validate for what they charge.
Love the ambience, the amount of rare drinks and a very knowledgeable bar tender who clearly loves his job!
