Amazingly friendly and welcoming staff, lovely interior. I only took off one star because our poached eggs were nearer to hard boiled, they didn't spread at all when we cut into them. (They were gloriously beautiful, though - a deep orange instead of the usual yellow.) The home fries were phenomenal - fluffy on the inside, crisp on the outside, smushy garlic cloves, and with a dusting of parmesan cheese. I would definitely give it a second chance if I lived in the area.

Refreshing, pleasant welcome relief from the ubiquitous *bucks; located in a heavy, tourist traffic area, convenient to 1st Ave hotels & Pike Place Market, SAM, Benaroya Hall, waterfront; excellent coffee, friendly service, CC only/no cash; support your local non-chain coffee shops, restaurants & small businesses ??

Our hotel recommended this place to us for good coffee and breakfast. We stopped by on a Saturday morning and the place was pretty quiet. It’s a small cute little coffee shop. You order all your food at the register and then it’s brought out to you. We had a vanilla caffe latte which was great! For food I had the cinnamon roll French toast and my husband had the chorizo biscuits and gravy. We weren’t blown away with the food, the French toast was very dry and bland even with it being bathed in maple syrup. The biscuits and gravy was not your typical biscuits and gravy and was okay, but the gravy was too different in taste from your average gravy. It was more of a cheesy flavor. The bacon was phenomenal, it was crispy and cooked just right. Food was overpriced for what you get though honestly. Really wish there were more options for weekend brunch/breakfast. The staff was friendly and the ambience was nice.

great food good atmosphere

Fabulous, flavorful and fresh brunch. The balance of flavors in the wild mushroom scramble (with berry compote and goat cheese) was perfect. It was not as busy as we expected on a nice Saturday for brunch which let us get in and out in about an hour.If you're exploring coffee roasts and sources, the staff is highly knowledgeable and they have lots of options to choose from!

This place has an amazing selection of pastries and coffees. The ambiance is simply great. However, while the restaurant is great for any occasion, the staff and the manager, Dessa, make the experience special for each customer who walks in the door- you will be greeted with a warm welcome, and you are checked on to make sure you are enjoying your time! Even if the food and drinks are delicious, the manager Dessa, and her staff make the experience one of a kind.

I had the cinnamon roll French toast and it was amazing. They had a very friendly staff, too!

At first I figured this was just going to be a place catering to business people on their way to work. But I was pleasantly surprised. They have super friendly staff. Our food was good. They were out of salmon because Pikes Place was closed due to snow... Which is really sort of cool. I like that they actually source local when they can.The boozy coffee was tasty.

The best boozy coffee inspired drinks! Breakfast was really good too. Service was outstanding as the staff member helped us move two tables together since we ordered a few plates for the two of us. If we were visiting longer we would visit this Cafe daily!
