Easily one of best Mexican restaurants in Seattle. We had excellent service and a wonderful experience. They have a large indoor section, plus patio and outdoor seating. The chilaquiles were delicious! The chicken was very well made and my eggs were cooked perfectly. The chilaquiles had amazing flavor (I ordered salsa roja). The beans were well seasoned too. All together they made a excellent meal!We also ordered chips and salsa for the table as well. The chips were always fresh. The salsa and guacamole were really tasty, worth paying for.I will be a return customer for sure! Everyone in my group enjoyed all of the food and beverages they had. Can't wait to explore more of their menu!
I had the tortilla soup with chicken. It was really good except that it had way too much cheese and it was difficult to eat because all the cheese was forming strings when I tried to eat it. This was not a graceful meal. I'd wave off this dish if I were on a date or trying to impress. Last time I had the pozole and that was much more graceful to eat. They have good authentic food here (I'm Mexican so I'm well qualified to judge) the prices are very reasonable and the ambiance is festive. We ate out on the heated patio, it was chilly outside but the patio was toasty.
IMO, one of Seattle's better Mexican restaurants. Most everything from menu seems fresh, with on premises made tortillas that came with my prawn dish. Word of warning though. if you get chips, salsa and guacamole it is not free. That is OK with me, but is unlike most other Mexican restaurants in that regard.Street parking is limited, but there is a free parking lot around the corner to the west of restaurant that is also shared by the other local businesses. For those of you that like to drink they have decent choices of beer, Mexican and domestic. The artwork on the walls is nice and service is pleasant and reliable. Fonda is one of my go to places for Mexican food in South Seattle.
My order had multiple missing items I was charged for. Might be wise to check each item before leaving! The food was ok, but had little flavor, which could have just been my dish. To me, it was good quality ingredients..., a clean place with some outdoor seating available and to go order capable. They also have some alcoholic drink selections.
Large portion tacos- they were heavy on the pork for the three taco entree. Their guacamole was fresh and their tortilla chips salty… an excellent post-run meal! Fast service, and they required proof of vaccination to sit inside. They do have a covered outdoor seating area as well, and you have to mask to come in. It looks like a great drink and tequila selection. Cute area to walk around beforehand if you’re waiting for a table.
The tacos were great! Highly recommend!!! My family and I had a great time. The service was awesome as well.
My favorite place in Georgetown for delicious bites and awesome margaritas
Great restaurant overall. Would recommend and visit again. Food = 4/5. Service = 5/5. Ambience = 4/5. Drinks = 4/5.Ordered chips-salsa-guac. Salsa guac was tasty. Chips could be better. They have several different flavors for margaritas. You'll find one that you like. I ordered "Fresca" but liked a different one instead.Ordered shrimp Fajitas such was the special for the day. It was delicious. Everything was cooked and flavored well.Service was fantastic...no frills yet welcoming.
Busy spot on a Monday evening. Staff was great and service was fast. Food delicious also enjoyed a jalapeno margarita.
My tacos were weirdly presented. The meat and veggies were just placed atop the tortillas and I had to move the stuff around and make my own tacos. That type of presentation would have been fine if the tortillas were given separately but everything was piled on a small plate. Plus my other 2 tortillas got soggy by the time I finished my first. Also the margarita I got was weak and to boot expensive. We also had to pay for chips and salsa (really in a MX restaurant?) but that said the chips were hot and fresh..Ambiance and service were great though..
