My elderly mother and I were guests at the Charter Hotel and tried to have a lovely evening at the fog room. We were greeted by immature and unprofessional hostess staff. We made the mistake of commenting (quietly between ourselves) about the poor service while sitting alone at the end of the bar. The bartender “C” asked us to leave if we continued to discuss the poor service and inhospitable welcome we received. Since when does the bartender comment on personal conversations and ask two old ladies to leave for talking to each other about pore hostess staff service? Spoke to Hotel management about our “Fog Room” experience and the behavior of the bartender. No response yet and we stayed at the hotel for two nights. I am a very loyal Hilton customer. If this was my first visit to a Hilton property it would have been my last. So disappointed in the Charter hotel and Fog room.
Perfect place to end the night when staying at the attached hotel. Relaxed ambience and friendly staff. The bartender at the time was the only one within the Seattle area who would make a mojito due to the lack of mint within the area. I’d recommend it to anyone who is trying to catch a night cap before calling it for the night. The mojito was concocted with care and professionalism.
This bar is nice. With a wonderful view of the Seattle skyline and Puget Sound. It is very spacious with a mixture of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was sweet and friendly! The price is on the higher-end side. The crowd is very young so the vibe can be a bit overwhelmed. The majority of the people there were in their early 20s and late 30s.Pretty much if you are avoiding the Jones. This is probably not a great spot for you. The drinks are good. I like the fact they offer fancy ice for my old-fashioned!
service was a bit lacking. we were missed twice for people that came after us.they were nice, just unatentive.menu was a bit lacking.watch for the 20% added to the bill so you don't over tip.the best thing was the view, not great, but more than my neck yard.
I only had drinks there, but really enjoyed it. The drinks were well mixed and the staff friendly. Good views too.
Lovely view here. Service was great too! Would have loved a seat inside the bar but the tables are smaller there. Initially we were seated at the front of the bar without too much view or vibe, but luckily we got moved to a seat at the back which was just the right amount of liveliness for us without it being too loud.Oysters were really good, as was the lobster roll!
It is a nice bar resraurant at the top of the Charter Hotel in Seattle. In terms of location and view as well as decoration and service, it is a quite cool bar-restaurant. You can have some drinks and snack or eat something. The reservation is highly recommended especially for some busy hours such as Friday evenings.
Very nice place. We had cocktails, hamburger and lobster roll. Everything was so good. Beautiful view and great service. Thank you Ariel! Will definitely come back.
Really nice "rooftop" bar. Only on the 16th floor surrounded by much taller buildings but still a beautiful view. Really tasty cocktails, charcuterie board and brussels sprouts were awesome. The views from the patio are beautiful. Didn't seem too pretentious, very chill vibe which is nice. Limited food menu due to kitchen staff being out, otherwise would be a strong five stars. Will definitely return!
The atmosphere is relaxed yet high end. The kind of place where you'd see a model taking photos on the terrace while a CEO and his friends discuss trade. Fantastic food as well. The steak was perfectly cooked and the cut was superb. I'd say that it was most likely dry aged and then marinated before cooking. It came with a tangy yet subtle sauce, which I found compliments the seasoning of the steak. The beef was not over seasoned, though earthy notes cane through, i could not identify them as the taste of the steak was the star of the dish. The fries were crisp and thin, perfect to take in the running juices of the steak as I cut into it and keep their shape and crunch. The dessert selection was limited, but the pear cobbler was amazing. Crunch oat topping and garnished with a flower, it was ideal to share. I had a truly enjoyable experience here and will return on my next stay in Seattle.
