Honey. Butter. Biscuit. Sausage gravy. We got here around 11am with a party of 4 and it was a 1hr wait. A wait that was well worth it.We ordered a chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict and a fried chicken biscuit sandwich. The food had my taste buds on another dimension. We came here mainly for the fried chicken and it did not disappoint one bit.The chicken was cooked to absolute perfection and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was filled with an audible crunch followed by the chicken juice oozing out creating the perfect mouth feel. The meat was juicy and tender. The sausage gravy was creamy and peppery complemented well with the honey butter; a perfect combination of sweet and savory. The honey butter glazed biscuits created an extra layer of crunch that was promptly absorbed by all the sauces and juices that oozed out with every bite. This is true comfort food. You possibly cannot go wrong with any of the options here. Service was great in addition to the warm and welcoming embrace of this cute little corner store.Would gladly recommend this place to anyone who has hunger pangs for soul food.

Everything here was amazing! From the service, vibe and of course right down to the food. I had the double chicken thigh sandwich with mac and cheese on the side with a side catfish. My girlfriend had the chicken and waffles with side biscuit and gravy. When I tell you they do not miss they did not miss!! Chicken perfectly cooked and seasoned. Sides had such a perfect blend of flavours and textures. Plus you add some hot sauce, wow, you're in for a life changing experience. Go see Fat's Chicken and Waffles in you're in Seattle. You cannot miss this place!!

A trip to Fats never disappoints. If you wake up feeling less than great take yourself to this little whole in the wall southern brunch joint. The owner, Erika is always there working and making sure everyone had a great time. The drinks are stiff and unique to what you would typically find in Seattle. I take my dad here, who is from North Carolina and normally is very critical of southern food in the PNW, but he said everything was authentic and reminded him of home. I especially enjoy the grits here, and no matter what I order I will always need a side of pimento cheese. When we lived in the central district this was a staple, now it is worth the early morning trip, and one of our most visited restaurants in Seattle.

This is where you go to get fat, full and happy! Be prepared for a good coma afterwards. The fried chicken was amazing! The gravy is some of the best I've ever had! They also make their own in house Hennessy butter which is so good!Do yourself a favor and order their bloody Mary cause it's so delicious with tons of flavor. The staff are friendly and fun and even jokingly offered me a job when I was staking plates to make it easier for them to clear the table.Eat here and go home to take a nap after because you'll need one, but it's so worth it.

This is legitimately some of the best fried chicken I've had. The waffle was a little too thin for my taste but my friend loved hers. The gravy is bad with andouille and has a perfect level of spice and they had about a dozen hot sauce to choose from on the table. Will return!

I enjoyed this place! We parked across the street in front of someone’s home and walked over. It’s such a cute place! Beautiful decor with items from my childhood. The owner sat us immediately and took our orders. The place wasn’t busy so the food came out hot and quick. The biscuit was a little well done but still good. While we were eating, a homeless man came by. The owner was so kind. Instead of asking him to leave, she helped him. She went in the back and prepared food in to-go boxes for him. So thoughtful.

These are the left overs from the sampler plate. I really loves the red beans and rice with some collards! Cheesey grits were perfect! The garlic and chili infused vinegar on the table levels everything up. My kid loved his legs and fries and cherry lemonade!Coming back so i can have the fried green tomatoes, fries mushrooms and try a sandwhich!

Grabbed breakfast here yesterday. Loved that we could call ahead and put our name on the waitlist when we were on our way over. This got us a table quickly, but we still had to wait awhile for our food. It looked like a bunch of tables ordered right before we did, so that is understandable. I had eggs benedict with squash. It had great flavor, was cooked nicely and was a nice portion size. The plate came half filled with potatoes/ home fries, which must have been cooked in an air fryer because they were the fluffliest! The seasoning was good, yet I would have been fine with half the amount. I will definitely order this again. He got chicken (breast) and waffles. The chicken was cooked nicely and flavorful. The waffle wasn't that exciting... but was improved with the honey butter and syrup that was provided. On a sustainability note, it would be great to see syrup and butter served in reusable containers instead of single use containers... this should also save money and perhaps time, if larger syrup containers are used.

Shrimp and grits was delicious! The chicken and waffle was good. The chicken by itself was really good and flavorful, the waffle was okay. Drinks were also good.

Stopped by this place today. Food is AMAZING! That said, do be prepared to wait. Good food takes time and patience. Even if the restaurant is not crowded, they are doing a lot of take outs. I loved the fried green tomatoes and the wings were the bomb! Crispy, juicy, done right. We had about...half a menu and everything was well prepared and fresh. Catfish sandwich with a side of fried green tomatoes hit the spot. Or maybe the fries, or the red beans and rice. By desert, it seemed impossible that I would eat anything else. The waffle, however, stilled wiggled its way into my stomach. We were planning what we'll have the next time around even before we left the restaurant. P.S. try the different hot sauces!
