If you're an ableist jerk you wont like this place. The owner gave us 4 free bagels and 4 delicious chocolate chip cookies! Custom made my partners cappuccino and my mocha to order, her ecstacy bars were shortbread cookies and homemade Carmel topped with delicious dark chocolate Ganache! This is a lovely local business in the u district that does the bakery and Cafe food right!
What a find, what a jewel! I can’t decide if I love the food, the desserts or the owner’s warm personality more. Regardless, I stopped by twice in three days. The limón bars, death by peanut butter, hazelnut/chocolate concoction all nearly brought tears of joy to all my friends who tried them. Can’t wait to come back.
I would tilt at windmills for these people and this deli. We've been ordering from them since the beginning of the pandemic and I hope to never stop. They're always putting little chocolates and extra goodies in our order. One time they had to cancel our order and they literally called us the next day to apologize? Unreal.All their bagel sandwiches are next-level-heck-me-up. The same goes for their baked goods. Lemon bars? Amazing. Carrot cake? Bomb. Brownies? Don't get me started. Cannot say enough nice things about this place and these people.
Best place my friend suggested to me months ago and the duck chicken sandwich was so darn good ? they are super sweet! They gave me a call to make sure I wasn't allergic to anything and requested to have the phone number in the comments next time in case they need to reach out and ask about the order. Their food is always delicious whenever we order highly recommended ??
You’ve made a loyal customer out of me! The bagel was amazing and I don’t think I’ll ever find another to top it. The peanut butter bar is to die for and I’m really wishing I had ordered more. To top it off, they surprised me with the coolest bagel ever and some chocolate. I’m in love.
My 10 year old decided they wanted to take me here to indulge in some baked goods for my birthday. I didn't even know what I was in for! On this Sunday, it just so happened baked goods and cold drinks were all that were available...but no complaints here! That was all we needed! The woman I assume owns the place was just so full of life and so genuine. She was so attentive and good to us. The goods? Let me tell you about the goods... Red Velvet Cupcakes with icing that just melts in your mouth! I had the feeling while consuming mine, that no human has any business experiencing this level of pure ecstasy. It felt like I was sinning, and I'm not religious. Oh man. All the dessert bars were the best of their kind...I cant even remember all the kinds we tried. I know a lemon bar was one, and it was the best lemon bar I've ever had. Everything was the best I've ever had! Pumpkin bread, bagels...we got so much food. Lol. And the best part was that the owner made sure we knew all about everything we purchased. She told us she didnt use preservatives in baking bread - so we'd need to store the bread in fridge or eat it right away...she made sure we knew what had possible allergens...she was like family! Amazing. Too great. I love this place forever!

Bagel freshness (and therefore sandwich quality) varies A LOT. You can only order on third party delivery apps that take commission (DoorDash, Uber Eats)
I traveled to New York City a few months ago and ate my way through Brooklyn and Manhattan, trying all the bagels I could possibly get my hands on. After being back in Seattle for a little while, I got a craving for one of my favorite things I tried during my trip: a lox everything bagel sandwich with chive cream cheese.Enter Fat Ducks Deli and Bakery. It's Christmas morning, I was so tired from prepping last night, I don't feel like cooking breakfast and all I really want is that sandwich. My partner found Fat Ducks on Uber Eats. I ordered the Duck Lox on an everything bagel with chive cream cheese and added tomatoes, onions, and cucumber.It. Was. Amazing.It brought back all the memories of bagel shops in Brooklyn. The bagel was crispy but chewy, the cream cheese was rich, creamy, and flavorful, the capers and lox added a perfect saltiness that wasn't too overwhelming, and the veggies made it taste nice and fresh.I think this might become an annual tradition. We definitely plan on visiting in person as well. I can only imagine how much more delicious this is when you eat it fresh out of the kitchen. They also threw in some cookies, some candy, a pizza bagel, and a candy cane shaped bagel for free! I would give this place 100 stars if I could!
