Delicious chicken (spicy is a MUST!), but they heavily prioritize delivery service orders over in person orders. So expect to wait a long, long time for your dinner if you want to order your food at the takeout window. We waited 45 minutes the other day with only 5 other people in front of us in line when we arrived. Parking lot was also insane since so many to-go customers were milling around, waiting for their orders to be ready.

I was really disappointed in this place, especially because my chicken was dried and not very good. Almost like it was reheated. I was kinda surprise considering this is a popular place in Seattle. Maybe it was just a bad day for them, and willing to give it a second try. Also, there was no where to sit and wait for our food, other than in the car in the parking lot.Hopefully the next try is better. Other than than that they had great customer service.

I like local. Local eateries. Local shopping. I dislike big box anything. Ezell's is like a step back in time and they are all over the Seattle Metro. Chicken is great and feels more homemade than actual homemade. Sides are excellent - mashed potatoes are real and you can tell from the lumps in them. I mean that in a good way. Mac & Cheese is the only side I have eaten that I would actually look forward to ordering. Chicken is good. Prices are decent. Service is fast. A tradition for a reason. I still love me some Popeye's, I'm not going to lie, but this is good stuff. Oh, and local. Try some today.

This was some pretty good chicken. It was kind of expensive at $25 for 1 pound of tenders, 2 fries and 2 rolls. Everything was fresh though and the seasoned fries were good. I liked that there was a parking lot at the store so I didn't have to find parking. It would be nice to be able to eat in but we took it to Gas Works Park and had a picnic which was even better.

Decent fried chicken if you're craving fried chicken late at night.Rolls: A bit dry and bland.Spicy dark meat: Not spicy for my taste but suitable for overall crowd. The overall taste is average, nothing to hype about. Not very consistent, sometimes a bit dry.Chicken tenders: Standard chicken tenders, also a bit dry. Taste is little bland.Spicy liver and gizzards: A bit bland with not much seasoning.

Coming from the South, it sucked that there was no place to go and get some GOOD fried chicken/chicken tenders. Being raised only 10 minutes away from a local Cane’s, I was spoiled growing up. The cuisine in Seattle is great but I was missing my fried chicken so I tried Ezell’s. At first, I was skeptical… but now, I can’t get enough. I have to stop myself from going there sometimes lol! The chicken is crispy in all the right ways on the outside and juicy on the inside. Having the option to add baked beans and mac n cheese is a huge plus as well! You don’t have to settle for fries if you don’t want to.If you’re like me and are missing you some fried chicken, definitely give this place a try. If you’re just craving chicken, also give this place a try because it’s worth it!Pro-Tip: order ahead online, the line can get long!My Go-To Meal: 1/2 lb of spicy (Ezell’s spicy btw is not spicy at all, it just gives the chicken a little extra kick) chicken tenders with baked beans + Mac n cheese

One of our favorite go-to places for a quick dinner. They are open late which is nice. Food has been pretty consistent compared to other fast food places. No seating. Best to call ahead so you dont have to stand and wait.

Sunday 3/20/2022 for pickup time time @ 4:06pm - In terms of food, I'd give it at very best 2 stars. For a chicken joint, this place fails at the one thing they should be great at. Their chicken is truly not seasoned at all - not even salt. It was mostly crispy and lightly breaded which I appreciate, but it was bland from the lack of any seasoning. It somehow also lacked chicken flavor, possibly from being overcooked to the point it was dry. The chicken my toddler spat out was chalky and grainy in texture. The chicken pieces were definitely on the smaller side as well as many others have stated, but 1-2 pieces per person is still adequate. The sides and rolls were the only redeeming things about the order, but nothing to rave about. The rolls were soft and fluffy sweet bread rolls. The slow-cooked BBQ beans were swimming in BBQ sauce, so I felt a little cheated in terms of how much actual beans I got, but they were decent (tasted like generic sweet BBQ sauce). The heritage mac and cheese tasted decent, but was super greasy and not seasoned at all. I drained the puddles of oil out before transferring it to a bowl at home. My toddler had only 1 bite and she demands Annie's mac and cheese with peas and broccoli almost everyday as she loves cheese and pasta, so this was definitely not amazing mac and cheese by any means. In terms of service, I cannot emphasize enough how it was by far the worst takeout order experience we've experienced in Seattle. They couldn't find the order in the system even when they were provided with a screenshot of the confirmation page and told the order number. I can accept there was a system error (which they mentioned happening in the past for other customers), but it took several minutes for them to get the manager to step in because they got distracted in looking for our order. Before our order was resolved, the manager decided that he needed a cigarette smoke break right outside of the restaurant (close to the building) to socialize with a friend who was vaping. It took 40 minutes for them to finally put the order together PAST the pickup time and it was just a 8 piece meal with 2 jumbo sides, so literally 1 order item and no modifications. In case you care about your consumption of plastic, they store all their sides pre-packed in a warmer @150F in PP containers. This place is a complete disorganized mess stemming from a manager that desperately needs to be replaced. He never introduced himself properly, but he's the same short white manager that is referenced in a Yelp review for illegally parking his pickup in a handicap and refusing to move it for a paying disabled customer. Safe to say, I won't be giving this place another try ever again.

Chicken is good, can’t complain.I personally don’t agree with how expensive chicken is these days at fried restaurants, but that’s my opinion. The chicken is crunchy but can often times have super uneven breading so that takes away from the experience. For $19.00 you can get 1 pound of chicken which is good for about 3 small stomachs, 2 medium, 1 athletes stomach!Overall though, the chicken is tender and tastes great. I can only complain about the coverage, you can see in the pictures. Super good if you’re drunk, good if you’re sober.I would recommend just getting the chicken, okra if you’re feeling for some fries veggies. Avoid the cobbler if you actually like good cobbler and no reason to get the sides, waste of money.

Great Ezell's location. We usually get chicken tenders. Last weekend we ordered from Heaven Sent, just to compare, and HS's was way more salty. I personally prefer Ezell's.
