For airport food this was great. A little slow getting through the line and you could sense it’s just under staffed and understand completely. The food was good and full filling. Complete salad basically wrapped in tortilla. I mean it was a little tempting to go get some fish and chips but I gotta start eating better I guess.. haha
I honestly don’t think it’s expensive for what you’re getting— it was $15 or $16 for my salad with all the toppings I wanted (including steak) and it had to be one of, if not, the best salad I ever had. Seasonal BBQ-type salad with roasted veggies, different types of pickles, jalapeño, crunchy onions, and a BBQ-ranch sauce combo for a dressing. So crunchy, so flavorful and SUPER filling.
One of the best choices at the airport for something healthy, fresh and not bland and well priced - a freshly made salad or wrap starting at $11 or about $15 with protein. The portions of the wrap and salad were great and service was a plus too. I will definitely return when back at SEA.
We like getting brunch or whatever when we stop over in Seattle. The food is always tasty and fresh. I'm sure we'll come here again and again. They have vegetarian and meat options available. Definitely recommend Evergreens Salad. You won't be disappointed.
I literally just paid $3 to put chicken in my salad. I couldn’t find any when I started eating, so I returned to the counter. The employee working asked to see my salad, then pointed out, “There’s chicken there… and there… and… uhh... there!”I thought I was paying for chicken, but that $3 must go towards the very expensive licensing fees required to hire a genuine professional chicken chunk finder. I can’t tell you how glad I am to be reassured by an expert! Next time I'll just ask for 2 eggs to avoid getting stiffed.
As a flight attendant I'm passing through a lot of airports and having a fresh healthy food option is always a big plus! This place was great. Definitely will tell my coworkers and stop again another time.
If it wasn't airport expensive (5 dollar water bottles!), I'd visit this place more than once a week. Definitely the freshest food in the airport, and a stomach ache free splurge if your flight's delayed for so long. Definitely recommend the wraps - next business trip I may try the salad, all the ingredients were fresh and they aren't stingy, staff make an effort to full your meal! Smart healthy choices matter.
Really good place to grab something light or with a little more freshness - versus all of the heavier food options close by. The El Sombrero wrap, with steak is awesome.
Seattle Airport has pretty poor restaurants and we chose Evergreens because it had decent reviews. My experience, it wasn't very good. Salad with quinoa (and whatever else) was basically just a big pile of arugula. Turkey was not recognizable, texture was like tofu. Had to tell the gal serving me 3 times not to put cheese on it. Evergreens is one of the more healthy alternatives at the airport, but not worth it. I ate about 1/4 of the salad and tossed it.
Got a salad to go and it was excellent. It’s incredible how many toppings you can add for free and load up the salad for the same cost. It would have been cheaper and faster to make the quick line rather than order via Google for pick up.
