The ribs were so small I couldn't believe how they would serve them when I paid over 35.00 and they were also burnt and the Mac and cheese was dry and my co-worker commented that it looks like it was leftovers from 3 days ago I was truly unhappy with the food and I will never go back and the chicken was not on point either it was chopped in pieces and not on the bone worst bbq I've had in a while.... never again ?
Ribs falling off bone, brisket had right texture. Both very flavorful without sauce and had smoke flavor. Would eat here again.
You dropped the bomb on the Mac and cheese I ordered for Thanksgiving. It was always good before but this time you didn't use elbow macaroni and the taste of the cheese was not the same. I was very disappointed and I ended up making my own.
First of all, what bbq restaurant forgets the bbq sauce? The cornbread looked and tasted just like the box it came out of. The baked beans obviously come from a can and aren't made with any love whatsoever. The meats were tender but very bland. I will NOT order from here EVER again.
Extremely tender and tasty brisket and nice sweet crumbly cornbread. The potato salad is good as well. Will come back for more brisket.
Hands down the best! I've eaten soul food at tons of places in the surrounding area and have left disappointed every time.Her greens are even better then my daughter's grandma's and she is born and raised in the south! I am definitely coming back soon! Keep doing what your doing!
Home made feel. Well seasoned. Beats out so many Seattle BBQ joints. Will be going back for sure! The greens and mac were out of this world.
Beef Brisket ! I absolutely love the beef brisket! It taste better every single time I go ! It’s like butter! I literally eat a whole pound in one sitting without sharing ! I have no Space for anything else accept maybe a piece of white bread ! I can’t shAre a picture because I always eat it before I remember! I’ve had the ribs too and they were delicious but my pork consumption has dwindled over the years! I have a harder time kicking the beef and tho I eat less. I throw the whole ideal out the window when It’s time for my brisket ! I buy two pounds one to eat immediately and another to sneak in the house. I normally get the sauce on the side but the last time I got it slathered on and it only enhanced the taste ! I couldn’t believe how that minor change could make the best better!
Edit: They now charge an extra $5 for a Mac and cheese only side. They advertise any 2 sides. I will not be going back for a while.Got takeout brisket and ribs with a side of Mac and Cheese. Definitely enough for leftovers. My only complaint is that the mild sauce was a little too sweet for my taste.
