This was the BEST Mexican food and service ever!! I ordered tamales, and Birria tacos. I asked for consume and they brought me a whole bowl (ummm...DELICIOUS). I really can't stress enough how great this place was. We went at 4:30pm, so we beat the dinner rush. The ambience was humble, and peaceful. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The food tasted amazing. The portions are generous and it was one of the few times that I've had to wait a few minutes before eating because the food was fresh off the grill and hot! While I waited, I ate delicious fresh tortilla chips and indulgent queso dip. I will absolutely be returning next time I visit Seattle. You will not be disappointed, folks!!

My wife and I ate here recently and absolutely loved it. We couldn’t believe they had Cantaritos! We had them in Guadalajara last year and were excited to see them here. The Birria Tacos with consome dipping sauce were so delicious. The bean and rice burrito, covered in the enchilada sauce was great as well. We would highly recommend checking this place out, we can’t wait to watch Sounders games here soon.

Hands down the best Mexican cuisine we've ever had besides abuelitas home cooked! And their qeso dip is amazing after letting sit for a few minutes. They have an incredible selection of spirits, including their own custom tequilas! That habañero mango: spicy going in, spicy going out!

We really like this place. Unfortunately they raised prices 2-3 times in the last year (you can tell because menus are scribbled and have hand written numbers). Last time we were charged $8 for chips and salsa, something that's normally free in a place like this. It's just not worth it any more.

We went here with a big hangover and we’re satisfied with everything. We left feeling way better than how we came. Tried the menudo, I wish it had corn just like it’s made on the northern side of Mexico but it was really good. Probably my favorite dish. Tried the barbacoa , gordita and tacos as well. The barbacoa was ok , the meat was a bit hard but overall good. Tacos and gordita were excellent. Customer service was a plus, everyone was really nice, even the chef or one of them said thank you when we were leaving which made it even more welcoming.

They continue to up their game! Me encanta, me encanta! Great, reliable, delicious food! Over the 9 months I’ve been eating here I’ve become happier and happier. Fast, friendly and attentive service. Easy take out or dine in. Comfortable atmosphere and enjoyable space to be in. I’ve had all the tacos! The guacamole, margaritas, salsa and pico is great! The taco Tuesday deals are super cheap! Recently, they’ve increased their prices but I swear the quality has gone up. Well worth it. El legendario es un restaurante maravilloso! Voy a regresar otra vez y otra vez. Mi familia encanta también! Muchos tiempos buenos aquí! Muchas gracias!

This place by far had been the best Mexican food I've tasted here in Seattle. The food is amazing, the amount of meat in each item you order is enough for 2 pieces staff is very polite and attentive. Highly recommend it

I've liked El Legendario for a long time, but sadly I don't think that I will be going there anymore. They have begun charging Doordash prices for non-Doordash pick-up orders. I called them directly and placed an order for pick-up:-3 California Burritos ($14 each on their menu)-1 Cheese quesadilla with beans and rice ($12 on their menu)I was given an accurate price - $60, or $54 + tax. When I arrived, I went to pay and was told the total was actually $76.I have never had a restaurant bait and switch me like this on price -- if I did not have multiple other people waiting on the dinner I would have refused it on the spot. A feeble non-explanation about "the price of ingredients has gone up," left me completely cold. The price went up in the last 15 minutes while I drove here? Give me a break.

Al pastor tacos were mf fuego. I got the huarache de asada and my mans got the burrito, both DELICIOUS. Definitely going back there again to try the other tacos.

Probably the one of the best Mexican restaurants in Seattle... and that is saying a lot. The ambiance is warm and cozy, and the service is super friendly. Their decor is so eclectic and sets the mood, and the best part is the delicious food... generous portions and quality ingredients and yummy authentic handed-down-the-family-tree recipes. OMG, the best carnitas ever! The best mexican rice ever! The best handmade corn tacos ever! You get the drift... And such a great spot to socialize and hang out, where they have everything you need, from an expansive menu and diverse array of beverages to big screen tvs for sports.I once left my phone here by accident, and they held it for me until I was able to return and get it back. They're so nice.
