I enjoyu the people watching at Dukes on Alki. The food is always consistently delicious. A little pricey for the ambiance which is decidedly casual, but I am a regular and expect it.
Tim is a very attentive waiter! Prices are a bit high for simple food like tacos and hamburgers
For the most part the food was really good. Ordered the double sampler of chowder, the clam was amazing but the lobster was missing something. The spinach salad was really good with the fillet of grilled salmon on it. The code was dairy free, which is what we needed. Fresh bread and butter came right to the table and it was phenomenal sourdough.
Delicious food and good service. Disappointed that the reservation site did not warn me that the roof was closed for lunch.
Food was not as good as I remembered. One GF dinner was served incorrectly.

We had requested upper floor for the view, but were told it was not open. It would have been nice to know that in advance. Window tables were very close together, but a cramped booth provided some separation. Among the disappointing food, I ordered the halibut stuffed with crab and shrimp; could not taste any crab. Very much overpriced. Nice selection of Northwest wines and good service.
As always, we enjoyed a great meal. But coming in, I told them we were celebrating 2 birthdays...usually in the past they bring a scoop of ice cream or a small dessert with a candle. Not this Time! Disappointed.
The food was good , but we never did get our clam chowder until we weâre ready to leave, and then she didnât even offer to remove it from our bill, we ended up throwing it out ..what a waste, our server was too busy for us and I waited 15 minutes just to pay.. it was a nice place but the service left a lot to be desired, and the prices were a little on the high side.
