This one is fairly new but it’s definitely worth a try. It’s super convenient to get to since it’s right next to the light rail station. Otherwise parking will likely be street parking. There is a lot of seating and on sunny days the side windows will all be open for a nice dining experience. You can essentially build your own pasta and they have a lot of options to choose from. You can’t go wrong with anything really. I recommend the Creste Di Gallo with either the Bolgonese Ragu or Mushroom & Truffle Oil. The food doesn’t take too long to cook and the serving size is good for the price. Overall very tasty pasta for a good price and good location. I will definitely try again and possibly get some to go next time!

Alas, I've never been to Italy, so I can't speak to authenticity. But the food is yummy. Highly recommended. Dué Cucina is kitty corner from the south entrance of the Roosevelt light rail station, so it's great for grabbing dinner (in or to-go) on the way home from work. You get to choose a pasta and choose a sauce. The classic casarece noodles are a good option. The sauces are all tasty - pick what sounds good to you.The garlic bread is a bit thin and crunchy compared to typical American garlic bread. Maybe it's authentic - dunno - just don't be surprised, and enjoy it the way it is.Garlic bread warning notwithstanding, I definitely recommend Dué Cucina.

Dué Cucina Italiana is a more upscale build-your-own pasta joint. They have 5-6 pasta types to choose from and a variety of sauces and add-ons. The Bolognese is really, really good and their carbonara is also good. I didn't really like the duck ragù because the taste was very subtle on the side of bland. The bruschetta with peppers is so good, probably one of the best things on the menu. Dué Cucina is a little pricy, but it's a nice spot for a cheaper pasta date that is still good quality. It also is self-bus and you pick up your food at the counter, so it is a little more casual in that way.

My favourite type of restaurant. Casual seating, fast and friendly service, high quality ingredients and pasta cooked to perfection.I don’t always want to dress up and go to a fancy Italian restaurant to get a good plate of carbonara. Sometimes I just want some place casual and fast but without sacrificing flavour and quality. This is that place for me ❤️

Absolutely adore this place. Even tho its a fast food style restaurant, people there are super welcoming and friendly! the food taste superb too, especially the one with Mushrooms is my favorite. Very reasonably priced too, Kitchen is very clean and service is fast. Even better than some other so called "fine dining" Italian restaurants.

This has been my favorite pasta place since back when they were just at Capitol Hill. I usually go to the Roosevelt location now since it’s easier to find parking. I can’t say enough good things…the pasta is fresh and delicious! And a great value too!

Loved it. I love that they make the pasta fresh right in front of you. I won't pretend like I know everything about authentic Italian, but I know enough to say that this is a very lovely spot to go to for great pasta, friendly service and really good food at a great price point. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you, Due Cucina, for finding your way into my life!

UPDATE: As instructed, I have emailed them twice about the refund and I’ve not gotten a response back. It’s been two weeks, clearly they aren’t planning on actually following up with me. Dropping this review to a one star.My wife and I ordered the Pomodoro Vegetarian, the Carbonara and a couple sourdough slices. Unfortunately they didn’t make the Pomodoro dairy-free as requested (see the cheese in the picture) so my Lactose-intolerant wife was unable to eat it. Nor did they add the poached egg, which we payed extra for! Overall the price, portions and pasta were all pretty good, but I just can’t give them a better review when only one of us was able to eat the food and they charged me for something that they didn’t deliver.

Ordered the home made ravioli. Sauce was broken. Raviolis sat in an eight of an inch of oil. Super bummed. Hungry, but not hungry enough to finish my fifteen dollar disaster. --- Edit: grateful for the reply from ownership. Added a couple stars. I will order again.
