Great dogs and the two dudes were very friendly. Highly recommend if you're in Seattle and need a quick bite to eat.
Stopped by to try the "Seattle Dog" (never had a hotdog with cream cheese on it) since Monster Dogs seems to be doing events only. Was not disappointed. The staff were extremely friendly and showed they care about what they are doing with the time spent getting that hotdog just right and the attention to detail. Nice selection of condiments to customize your order. As to how the "Seattle Dog" experience was - I'd definitely get it again. Somehow it works - the cream cheese has some seasoning going on and works well with the char on the hotdog and the caramelized onions and peppers.
Nothing beats relaxing at the Westlake park nibbling on the famous and filling Seattle hotdog paired with soda while either reminiscing or people watching. It’s not just the Seattle variant , you can have the Mediterranean or the Chicago.
Kind service. Pretty pricey. Loved the Seattle dog. Husband went with the Chicago dog. Good thing to try while in Seattle. Nice tables to sit at in the courtyard around the stand.
Cold and undercooked hot dogs. When I asked for mine to be cooked more, he cursed and threw the hot dog at me. Right in front of my wife and small children. The worst service I’ve ever had from anyone in my life. Stay away. There are great food trucks nearby with better options.
They also have halal hot dog on the menu which was a pleasant surprise. Quick and prompt service, plenty of toppings and served piping hot. I wouldn’t go specially to eat a hot dog but if you’re in the area and looking for a quick yummy bite, this won’t disappoint!!
The staff blatantly upcharges on their prices, charging additional fees for their convenience. When this was brought to their attention, they still charged us and gave us an undercooked meal in retaliation. Will avoid coming back to this business in the future.
Both Seattle style. Beef and spicyBoth super good. But would choose spicy if I had to pick. Not too spicy. Mild with a little after taste. No seasoning needed but used a little ketchup and mustard on the side to dip the toasted bud extras.Walked over to the second floor dining area above Zara to sit inside and eat.Maiko matcha for desert ;-) welcome to Seattle.
In the Hot Dog category, this place is a 5. Fair amount of specialty dogs to go along with very fair size to price regular beef dogs. Onion cabbage and peppers included with price so if you like plain split dog let them know.
Seattle dog all the way!!! Good split dog, enough cream cheese & grilled onions with jalapeños, other options look great too but when in Seattle, gotta have a Seattle dog. The gentleman that grills it up right keeps you laughing while you wait.
