Mr. Doake must ev thought I was taking this ½chicken and ½slab so the folks because there was no plastic ware in the bag. All good though, I used a rib bone as a fork to eat my mac&cheese. Pound cake slaps! Everything SLAPS!
Great tender juicy brisket. Quick service too and the owner was super nice even put out some chairs under the church for people who were waiting.

We heard about this place through work. Even though it was over an hour away from home, it was well worth the drive. Best BBQ place we've seen. Can't be beat The level of hospitality was awesome. We were treated just like family. :)

Doake's has some of the best BBQ I've had in Seattle. Excellent fall-off-the-bone ribs and chicken. The sides were well seasoned and portioned. The Doakes are friendly and the prices are more than fair.
Tried this place because it was so close to home, so glad that I did. Satisfied my BBQ cravings and then some, at a great price too! Gonna keep coming back I suggest you go by and get a sample at the least.
Visiting Seattle from out of we ate at Doake’s BBQ. We travel a lot and make it a point to try BBQ where ever we are. We’ve had some really good BBQ from all over the country and I can honestly say that Doake’s is some of the best ribs and sides we’ve ever had. Not only was the food amazing but Mr. Doake treated us like family- we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and can’t wait to eat here again on our next visit to Seattle.
