The shop as such is good. Lot of Asian groceries and well stacked. But the restaurant down below, if you are vegetarian, you just cannot get through that to the cashier. And no matter what you say, it will have whatever you said you don’t want, maybe a little bit more of what you did not want. Used to be good, but my latest visit was horrible. Veggie bibimbap had no bamboo shoots, had egg, and missed half of what was supposed to be in it.

I've lived right next to this place for several months, and at first I loved getting sushi for lunch at their food court. However, recently the service has become so terrible that I'm embarrassed to bring friends here anymore. There is usually only one person at the food court register, and she can't speak English. She put in the wrong order for my friend despite him pointing out the different name, menu number, and price. She insisted it was right even when it came out and was obviously wrong (beef instead of veggie). We had to find someone else to talk to for a refund, and he left without food after wasting his lunch break.I've tried to give this place several more chances after that, but each time it's the same terrible service from that employee. The wait time to order and receive your food can also be very long, and I always just end up wishing that I had gone somewhere else.

Pretty happy with the options here. I had to be mindful of the different items I put in my cart. Some items were reasonably priced while others were very expensive. Overall, the place is very clean and the staff is super sweet. I wish there were more food stations! Also, I was trying to find the Bim Bim Bop hours online, but couldn’t really find much.*edit updating to a 3 star. I tried to order sushi from the bar station, but I was told sushi closes at 5:30, after being told it was open until 7. Then, I tried to order the chicken, but I was told I had to go up and grab the chicken that had been sitting out - and they didn’t have the flavor I wanted. My review of the bar: it would be nice to have hours posted that were honored. Hours aren’t posted and the bar doesn’t stay open even when told it is. My review of the chicken: I wouldn’t get it again. It’s very dry and hard - to the point that I couldn’t tell if I was biting into bone or chicken. Please invest in staff to keep the hot bars open. I know that’s a big ask, but people will come if they open!

Reviewing the food service only. Tried their veggie bibimbap. The quantity is excellent, easily serves two if you have a small dessert or side. They serve it in a stone bowl so if you wait a bit for it to cool, the rice develops this delicious crust. I would say they should add sesame oil by default, I had to ask for some. And they could add more veggies/protein.

I was heading to work to pick up some veggies. I came across District H. My first time in that place I was looking some cilantro at veggie section and this young man was stocking the aisle. I asked him politely if they have any cilantro he answered the end of the isle or whatever he was talking about. I asked the cashier once again as I was checking for cilantro she went over that young man and maybe asked him. She we are out of the item . I said to her why that guy told me it was at the end of the isle. Instead of helping me why didn’t the young took two minutes his to look. Not friendly or helping not coming be here. I’ll stick to Whole Foods at least some there will try help you. Just a simple no or yes will ok instead of misleading your customers.

This business does not respect the surrounding community. They frequently block the entire alleyway behind the store with improperly parked trucks which blocks all residents in the surrounding buildings from being able to enter/exit parking garages. The H Mart employees that run the loading dock area are disgustingly unprofessional as they often laugh and mock anyone who approaches them, requesting that their truck move to the side of the alley. Management at the store does not seem to care and refuses to hear complaints from surrounding neighbors.

The restaurant in here serves the best beef bibimap I’ve ever had!

This rating is based on the food from the food court and bakery (tous les jours). The shoyu ramen was amazing, such a flavorful broth with good quality toppings and the pork was juicy tender with a little amount of fat that melts in your mouth. The beef bibimbap was super hot, with just the right amount of crunchy rice (make sure you keep mixing or it’ll burn) and a large portion of beef inside ! The price for the ramen was 11.99 which is lower than other ramen places in the seattle area, and for the serving size it’s more than worth it. Definitely surprised of how good this ramen was because it’s better than other ramen places that I’ve tried. The bakery is also reallly good, a little on the pricier side but the quality of the bakery items is high. The market itself has good ready made food (go after 7pm for 20% off!) but a lot of basic grocery items are expensive. A good stop for Asian snacks/alcohol/grocery related items that aren’t available at other markets. Would recommend giving the restaurant inside a definite try?

Been living near District H for 2 years, has always been my go-to for any Asian style grocery shopping, that and there's decent dine-ins there that are definitely worth a try.

a great place! I finally found golden curry! Great price too
