The food here was consistently disappointing between raw potatoes in potato salad, brown/wilted veg in the cucumber salad, and a currywurst that was basically just a microwaved hot dog. The only redeeming qualities were the beer and service team. TLDR: Drink, don't eat here.

Good service, good food, and good beer. The price can be a bit high, but for a whole liter of really good beer my vote is that it's worth it. Also I enjoy the atmosphere, normally quietly lively during evening hours. Always seems to be a spare seat, but never barren in my experience. I really like this place. Awesome food and great service! The food and the drinks were great and authentic. And our server was amazing - she paid attention to our needs and spent time with our group talking and making is comfortable! Highly recommended.
Great German style joint with good food and service. We tried the schnitzel sandwich and kielbasa sandwich and both were very delicious
Went here hoping for the flavors I grew up with and they didn't disappoint. The weiner schnitzel was tender, the breading was crispy, and the mushroom gravey was just like my Uma would make. The wurst had a wonderful flavor balance that went great with the mustards and the beer. I think we tried nearly everything on tap and there wasn't a bad one in the bunch. Finally a place where everything isn't an IPA! I missed the dark coffee and caramel notes of the German stouts. Definitely recommend!

Cute German bar near the U district area. Good selection of German beers and food if that’s your thing. The brats are pretty good, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the pretzels, as I prefer mine a bit fluffier. You have the option of getting it with a type of beer cheese that is NOT like your standard American beer cheese you get at pubs, so be ready. It’s not bad, but definitely different.
Great cheap beer and clean restrooms. The food is a hit or miss. I got the daily special, a cup of tomato soup n half a grilled cheese. The soup was weird consistency, not tomatoey at all and way too much basil. The bar food like pretzels and fries are pretty good
Very nice atmosphere. Great Staff. Great beer selection, Great schnitzel ! Also they have the best Seattle dog around in my opinion
