Quick and simple burgers and fries and shakes from a longtime, Seattle franchise chain.Good fresh food which I find better than any fast food hamburger restaurant.
Seattle classic! Fries are real whole potatoes hand cut. Shakes are sweet. And the cheeseburger is one of the best I’ve had. Limited menu. No special requests but quick friendly and cheaper than a lot of fast food. You have to wait outside so come prepared but the lines go back quick. Old fashioned polite. Best part is they take care of their employees with tuition reimbursement and child care, full benefits, and so much more. And they give back to the community. A local favorite.
VERY ordinary, plain, boring burgers. Apparently VERY complicated for 8 employees to have 4 burgers ready even when there is only a couple customers. They wanted to charge extra for cheeseburgers instead. I decided to wait. What did they do? They made another grille full of cheeseburgers!! If I want to wait, I will go to Kidd Valley where at least it tastes OK. I miss the old Gordo's from years ago on Shilshole. That guy was from India and worked his --- off. $18 an hour for these guys? So they can chat and giggle?
Extremely dry burgers with sauce on one bite. All I could taste was a dry burger and cheese on the Deluxe.

Of course everything tastes great, you know that already. Just wanted to say the crew here is terrific. A single employee likely greets dozens of visitors every hour which must be exhausting, but their demeanor is always friendly and energetic.
High satisfaction, low-brow. Preferred over my previous go-to fast food joint of McDonalds.I love the food here, as do many across the country, despite it only being a Washington local chain. The burgers are delicious, sometimes a bit messy and ugly, the fries are a must have, some people don't get it and sometimes they're not as crispy as you'd hope, shakes are a bit runny, but you can slurp them down fast through a straw. Overall I wish they changed things up once in a while (i.e. fresher additional onions (they're pretty slimy and watery where i was hoping for fresh and crisp), options for drinks in sealed, to-go bottles (the crushed ice in the cups makes it go flat really quick especially if i'm on the go), and maybe an item with bacon on it (what no bacon? I like bacon). But despite any faults, the people are good, the service is fast, the food fills you up (not like McDonalds), and this place will remain like a member of my family, a staple in the life of a Pacific Northwesterner.

After driving here and waiting in line for ten minutes, they wouldn't serve me something that's on their menu and which they have the ingredients available to make.Employee: we don't have any plain cheeseburgers made right now. You want something else?Me: no, can I wait for the plain?Employee (shaking her head): it's going to be a long time. (Staring at me waiting for me to move out of the way)In other words, whether they will even let you order a given burger from their menu of 6 total burgers is dependent on random factors which are impossible for you to know until you've already waited in line. Seems like there could be a better way — as-is, their "instant service" slogan is mere lip service. Frustrating and disappointing; we left home specifically to come here.I used to go here all the time but it seems to unfortunately have fallen off.
I usually have nothing but good things to say about this place. But the last thing I need, at the end of a really long day, is to order 4 hamburgers and get home to find 4 cheeseburgers instead. That happened last night. There's a reason I order them without cheese, so yeah that was frustrating.
