We came at around 9:30 last night (Friday night) the women working seemed to be trying their best. We were not greeted but were seated with four minutes. We ordered drinks and appetizers. By the time we finished our appetizers we still did not have our waters or drinks. We never received a refill throughout the meal. I asked for a side of veggies and was charged $18 for it. She refused to help address the inaccuracy of the bill. They gave us gravy uncooked and it was just a really depressing experience to be treated like they treated us. The bill came to around $65 and it just really felt like we were being hustled by the staff. Below is an image of the receipt and the hash browns covered in gravy, which was a replacement for missing biscuits…so sad about this.
Food tasted good and delivery worked out however, it's unfortunate because I know this place well enough to say that their customer service and people skills majority of the time for at least 75% of their employees simply don't exist in other words most of the workers here are unfriendly, disrespectful ,judgmental and just outright rude!And it's sad to not only watch but experience as well and on more than one occasion really know the reason at all or else I might understand but I just don't and can't understand the logic regarding the way they handle situations. And honestly I'm just shocked that they even have a job still or even at all.
We went on a super busy Sunday morning and just wanted to give a huge shout out to Gina, who was running the entire floor. She was the hostess, waitress, busser, and I don't know if she's officially a manager but she was definitely running the place. Her waitress team was useless, the Denny's would have fallen apart without her. We made sure to leave a good tip! Thanks Gina!!!
What can you say about an American institution. Denny's vary from restaurant to restaurant but the Burien Denny's is soooo goooood. Nice servers, good eats, flavors that take you back to your childhood. I have found memories of my Father and I stopping in at Denny's as we traversed the West Coast, this one restaurant brought back those memories on a plate!Please remember be nice to your server, you are not the only table they wait on.
Denny's is always a good place to eat in general. Parking lot is kinda run down & last time I was there, they were short staffed so everything was just slow. I'm sure when they get enough staff, things will be 5-stars
Worst Dennys I’ve been too, I have been going to dennys for years and never once had to deal with such disrespectful service, the food was also terrible and cold. They weren’t clean at all got grossed out real quick. We had t-mobile coupons that says one per customer while they where telling us it’s one per table and we would have to sit at separate tables if we wanted it to work and before we sat down we asked one of the employees and he never told us such a thing and tried to deny that we ever asked… in a very rudely manner. never stepping in here again horrible experience!!
Great hash browns and service. The eggs were perfect, but the bacon and sausage were not cooked properly. The French crepes were great a little flat and rubbery but tasted great. They have lots of room for improvement.
This is the most efficiently run Denny's I've ever attended. They sat people fairly quickly, the employees worked well, and very quickly, with each other and supported each other, they listened well, kept their eyes out for people at tables that needed service or clearing up after customers left. Additionally the food was perfectly prepared, i.e., the eggs, bacon, and French toast were all just right. I definitely will return in the future to this particular Denny's.
Denny's is the absolute best. I love this place. I have so many amazing childhood memories here of parties, fun times and events. I remember going here for a military themed birthday party of mine when I was very young.The atmosphere of this restaurant is very warm and friendly and upbeat. You shouldn't feel like you are awkward in a good place like this.I like the architecture of the inside and it is unique. You don't see other restaurants with unusual ceilings like they do at Denny's. They still have that nice fun and friendly diner feel.The food is very good and I really enjoyed the Philly cheese steak omelette with hash browns and bacon with the mango lemonade.The workers are very nice and friendly and the service is very good. I really enjoy going here because I know I'm always going to have a great time.Don't listen to what other negative people say. Their service and their food quality has greatly improved over the last few years and I would definitely recommend this establishment.Wonderful place to be. :)
Never had 5 star service at Denny's anymore. Looks like they always have new people and not properly trained. Our server was nice and polite, but you could tell he was new. Not a bad thing necessarily, is not their fault they probably don't have a proper training program, and they probably don't pay the experienced ones good enough to care.
