Charming family restaurant on outskirts of underwhelming Georgetown stripmallverse. Serves simple and delightful Japanese Asian standards. Usually not too busy. No vulgar embellishments here, just pleasant food and okay service.I recommend you try the Tamago egg sushi. Its custard in the mouth feel will tempt you to order another serving. The sushi combo gets my top rating for the price. Accompanying the combo is a fresh salad served with a particularly good dressing. Not sure if it's homemade or what, but I usually save the leftover dressing in the takeaway cup (never done that before).Recommend them for regular sushi, nights or weekends. One thing to note, it's much better to call in the order if you're getting takeaway, the online menu is sucksville.

I love this place! The fish is so fresh and delicious. The owners are wonderful too!

Waitress was totally awesome. Great recommendations and exceptional service. She made us feel like special guests in her home.

The best Sushi in town! I personally have ordered various selections and put on private aircraft of Fortune 500 CEOs Presidents and Celebrities flying all over the world who trust my opinion of whats the best and Alex and his staff NEVER EVER disappoints!!!!

This place looked promising but was disappointed. Bad quality food. There was hair in the soup and the fish did not taste fresh. We ordered two bento boxes and the total came out to 71 with tip. The only thing good about here was the customer service.

So friendly, warm, and welcoming! The sushi was all delicious and fresh, with high proportions of fish to rice. Especially loved the vibrant ume shiso roll and the generous tobiko Nigiri.

My order was just a pick-up, but for the 5 minutes I was there everything was great and everybody was extremely friendly. Then, my gyu-don bowl was perfect. It actually reminded me of my mother’s cooking when I was a kid, which is hard to do lol. Definitely coming back here

I’ve been to Daimonji many times, and it’s always been lovely. Today I picked up food to go for a birthday lunch with my sweetie, and chef Alex created such exquisite culinary wonder. The sushi was prepared so beautifully, the combination of taste, texture and freshness was an absolute delight! I will return again and again.

If you are looking for Bellevue bougie, DJ pumping annoying music and an over priced sushi spot with medium quality fish, this isn’t for you.Instead you get a family owned restaurant with quality service and AMAZING quality fish and sushi rolls. I don’t say this lightly! I promise…the nigiri melts in your mouth. The price is actually a deal for the quality of fish you get. Typically when I go in there I eat 25-35 pieces of an assortment of rolls, nigiri and sashimi. The miso soup is also great. Don’t let the looks let you determine you deciding to go or not. I wish they were open Sunday’s so I could give them more business. I would rank this spot higher than a 5 if possible.

I feel that my server (lady) lack customer service skills. I dined in and asked for just the broth and noodle in my Raman, and she acted I was very strange for this and joked with the other customers sitting a table next to me if they only wanted noodles in their dish too.I won’t be coming back
