What an amazing spot! I've been meaning to go here for a while and I'm so glad that I did! Absolutely beautiful food and so tasty! Very nice and smooth horchata. Our food was recommended for 2 to share, but you could definitely feed 3. Also, be sure to order some extra tortillas! If you like Mexican food, definitely stop by here. Although it does get pretty packed, so go during off-hours or expect a little wait.
Amazing food! Amazing staff! So friendly and accommodating. My friends from Guadalajara took me here and they say the food is very authentic. I love the white Mexican rice…it has little pieces of corn and green scallions. The Queso Fundido with champiñones (mushrooms) is excellent…we order it with a side of flour tortillas.
The decor is so beautiful, it is a pleasure to sit in the open room. The service is ..hectic...due to how busy they are, but they are nice young people doing the best they can. The food is amazing - have the crispy appetizer - Its fried cheese tortillas!!! SO GOOD.
Would be 5 stars if they used better corn quality corn tortillas instead.of the very low end tortillas they're using. The food was amazing. I didn't order well, the shirt ribs were void of seasoning, however the rest of the food was amazing, particularly the rice and the fundido. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu and truly hoping they source a better tortilla like West Seattle's Milpa Masa.
Many good dishes. Try the picocitos, tuetanos, carne en su jugo, Portobello mushroom, rib eye tacos, etc.
Great place for Mexican food in Seattle. They don't take reservations here so expect to wait of they're busy. They'll take your name and number and will text you when your table is ready if there's a wait.Service was great, food was good. They give everyone a condiment plater, that has pickled onions, radish, pico de Gallo, cilantro, chopped white onions and salsa. We had the bacon stuffed Jalapeno poppers and queso fundido as appetizers. Note, the queso fundido is just melted cheese. It's not cream based like a sauce or liquidity. If you're into that this is right up you're ally. If you're expecting a cheese sauce you may want to pass. For the entree we had the chorizo tacos and the carne asada plate. Both were delicious. The environment is good plenty of seating inside, and some outdoor seating is available as well.Parking: You'll have to search for street parking nearby. 10th Ave E will have some parking and E Miller St. too. Just be careful going into the neighborhoods for parking they may require permits but just read the signs for details.
Fun atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious authentic Mexican food. I ordered the priciest thing on the menu which is the chili en nogada.... It was very good but the portion was much too small. It certainly didn't fill me up.....I mentioned this to the waiter but he suggested ordering more food then ?
Amazing food! Real authentic Mexican food. Nice service and beautiful atmosphere. My Ribeye steak was perfectly cooked almost melted in my mouth, so good!?? Drinks and dessert yummy!! 100% recommended ? Thank you so much!!!
Wow! Saw this recommendation online and decided to check it out. Highly highly recommend. The vibe is excellent and the food is spectacular. Their menu is a bit unique to me but everything sounded good and every dish I saw come out looked amazing. Tortillas were hand made and I'm pretty sure everything is made fresh in house. We both loved our dishes and drinks. The margarita style drinks all come in a unique glass with nice garnishes which is a nice touch. The service was excellent as well, attentive and friendly. Gave excellent recommendations.
Great Mexican food. Ordered the taco carts which comes with chicken, carne asada, chorizo, al pastor and puerco pibil. They were all delicious and would highly recommend getting the flour tortillas, I’m not a huge fan of corn tortillas. The also bring out toppings like salsa and radish. The agua de horchata is not instant and tastes home made. Will definitely be back to try a different dish.
