I cannot say enough good things about this place. I use to go to the food truck long ago, pre covid, but then I moved away. Coming back to discover they have real restaurant was so wonderful. I love their food. I have many food allergies and their patience and understanding as well as their yummy gluten free alternatives make ordering such a breeze. I got the "big mac" with the gluten free bun and a small (huge) cheesy fries and their basil watermelon drink (no alcohol as I was on a lunch break). I could not finish my meal. So much food. So delicious. The drink was epic, comes with an edible candied basil leaf. I took a bite of the leaf and it was wonderful. I ended up crumbling the leaf into my drink and that was also so delightful. The service here was also great. Created with a smile, answered all my questions and chatted about the local happening of Ballard.I will be back for sure. I suggest this place to everyone, even non vegans will love this place.
All vegan place with lot of choices. Can order online ahead for pickup too. Very very friendly and informative staff. The fries were to kill for but I didn’t personally like the burger patty or the hot dog sausage - since I don’t like faux meat. But would highly encourage others to try, everything else was on point.
Great food and friendly staff! The bacon and cheese I can’t tell are vegan! Impressive and full of flavor
We used to go to the cart religiously during the pandemic. It was one of the few outings we had for two years. This was our first time eating at their brick and mortar location. Everything about it was so amazing! Their expanded menu is awesome. I had the gluten free chick-un sandwich. OMG--delicious and surprisingly light. We shared an order of fries which was plenty. They were huge, crispy and fresh from the fryer. I had their white sangria and a Rachel's finger beer. Both were delicious and refreshing. Kudos on the new location! It is adorable and the staff are super friendly and excellent at their job. ???
This place is so good. Absolutely incredible stuff. Had the chicken sandwich and the animal style fries and a burger -- all really great. Honestly tastes better than meat fast food. Really hoping to try the dogs next time, wish they had chili dogs but honestly all 3 they do have look great. Can't wait to come back!! :)
Absolutely love Cycle Dogs - it’s been awesome to see them progress from a tiny cart to a sit down restaurant. Everyone who works there is always super nice and the food is delicious. Their specials are also always amazing as well. If you haven’t been here yet, go ASAP.
Literally my favorite restaurant in all of the greater Seattle area! Not only are both their service & food phenomenal but they have rotating specials that change almost daily. Maybe even take home a bottle of their delicious curry ketchup, it’s spectacular.I also really recommend following them on social media as they do an excellent job at shouting-out other local vegan businesses to try, a huge plus if you’re a vegan looking for more options.Overall Cycle Dogs is a 20/10 restaurant to visit.
Overall not a bad spot but I don't get what all the hype is about ? We had a party of 3 for an early Wednesday dinner. It wasn't busy at all so we were seated right away. You scan a QR code at the table to view the menu, order food, and pay; food is brought out as it's ready. Staff was very nice on our visit.I got the simple dog and modified it to spice it up (added sauerkraut, mustard, mayo, relish). One friend got the elote dog and the other got the spicy Chik'n sandwich - they both liked 'em. We also got a large order of the hangry style fries to share - I would pass on them next time, way too much onion for my taste (to each their own!). The weekday menu isn't extensive but allowing to customize the dogs can get you what you're looking for. I don't think this is anything too special honestly but it's nice to see a vegan spot thriving. Maybe if the menu gets more fun I'll return one day.Current covid practices: show vaccination card upon arrival, staff wear masks.
Buttered buns: I had no idea how amazing they were until Cycle Dogs. They regularly have fun special menu items (follow their Instagram for updates), and their normal menu items are amazing on any day. Staff are also lovely! I do wish they had more simple drink options (like juice), but maybe some day.Wait times can be long when it's busy — may I recommend the Woodland Latte at Miro Tea if you need to stroll around the neighborhood a bit! Or pop into the consignment store to have a lot of fun looking at furniture you don't need.Bathrooms available, and I'm 95% sure they are single occupant/not gendered (yay!).
Easily my favorite burgers in town. Good portions. Amazing and friendly staff. Obviously pricey compared to their fast food chain inspirations, but I'm happy to support the cause.
