The best Moroccan cuisine town is actually under a Spanish name. A bit pricey but dishes are artistfully intricate, modernizing some classic Mediterranean dishes and sauces and flavors together.
Always great. Meats and amazing. Cocktails are fantastic. Order the cauliflower side!
Checked out this place with a relative. The Spicy carrot margarita is great. Tried the salmon and it was perfectly cooked. Had a number of items that I would definitely come back for. Only item I would adjust is some of the wine selections.
Though the food was good, the Seattle prices were somewhat prohibitive. We were also given the runaround when we tried to order drinks ("Would you like your drinks to come out last?") because a friend in our group, who left after 10 minutes, was deemed to be intoxicated (she did not order anything). While I understand their position, I feel it would have been better if they had told us directly why we were unable to get our drinks up front rather than waiting for us to ask about them after our meal.
Been here half a dozen times in the past year and it never disappoints. Would love other restaurants that charges more to make as good as food as Ciudad.
Trendy rustic industrial atmosphere with original dishes. A few 'shared plates' were enough for two and reasonably priced. We went for shared plates because my wife selected this place to try the lamb riblets. The lamb ribs were decent, but the meatballs and hummus stole the show. Plan on ordering extra flatbread for the hummus.4 stars as opposed to 5 for these reasons:My wife called in advance and they told her they didn't take reservations but there shouldn't be an issue getting a table. When we arrived the hostes said the wait was 1.5 hrs. I had to ask if the seats open by the grill near the entrance were an option, glad I did because it cut the wait time by 1.5 hrs. Disappointing that we weren't told there could be a wait on Sat evening when we called to ask and the hostess didn't bother to mention seating may be available outside the restaurant area. If given the option I would have preferred to sit by the grill under the heaters, made the experience that much better for me.Overall a good experience. A fun 'let's go check this place out it's different' event. We will go back someday.
Everything tasted better than the menu sounded. It was one of the best meals. Go with folks who share so you can try all the things!!
The place certainly has a lot to offer. From a very trippy wall mural to masterfully prepared octopus. Let's start with prefacing it with: this is not a quick lunch. It's a sit down spot where you need to have time to allow for meal preparation. The end result will wow you, no questions asked. Potatoes were crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, delightfully spiced. Chicken tahini is well marinaded, juicy and flavorful. Wide choice of side sauces can help tip your meal in a unique direction for each customer. But the most impressive was octopus. If you've had octopus before and it was rubbery and chewy - please don't let bad experiences ruin this for you. Octopus came out slightly charred for a nice crisp in the first bite. The inside it was perfectly cooked and packing flavor. Trust me - you want to try this.Side note...grilled cheese also gets a nod for lack of greasiness and a unique texture.
Incredible food at a really great price! Great spot for a date or hangout with some friends. I suggest going during the day so you can appreciate the natural light through the beautiful skylights.
Why haven't I heard of this place!!! Everything was outstanding. The soup and babaganoush is a must try. We also loved the spicy carrot ? margarita
