Cinque Terre (five lands) Ristorante (Cinque Terre) is a Seattle restaurant featuring cuisine from the Riviera region of Italy. Locally owned by the Varchetta brothers, highlights include an oyster bar and an emphasis on local seafood, house-made pastas, and artisan pizza. I had the “pizza bianca ai tre formaggi e salsiccia” off the lunch menu for $18, and it was fantastic (three-cheese pizza with sausage [no red sauce]). The complementary bread is homemade in small batches. Awesome! Other traditional and always-on-the-menu foods include muscoli (mussels), polpo (octopus), gianchetti (anchovies), gamberi (shrimp), and stoccafissu (dry aged cod). Open daily from 11:30 in the morning until 10:00 at night, look for Cinque Terre and its minimalist approach to decor in the South Lake Union neighborhood at 2001 Westlake Avenue (between 6th and 7th Avenue in Downtown Seattle). It is vegetarian friendly and offers gluten-free and vegan options. Other notables include exceptional table service, outdoor seating, a full bar, an extensive wine list, craft cocktails, private dining options (up to 40 seated guests or up to 75 in a standing, cocktail-style fashion), friendly/knowledgeable staff, a daily happy hour, and both takeout and delivery alternatives. Call ahead for table reservations. Note that Cinque Terre is now cashless and only accepts Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover cards. Happy hour (3:00 - 6:30 and 9:00 - 10:00) features 50% off all bar menu food items; select bottles of wine for $22; a half-dozen raw oysters on the half shell for $12; Mumm Champagne by the bottle at $48; feature glasses of red, white, or rose at $6; and beer pints for $5. Fantastic! Parking for Cinque Terre is available in the Amazon Doppler garage (standard garage rates apply during workday hours). First-generation immigrant Italian brothers Silvio, Leo, and Roberto Varchetta also own nearby Barolo Ristorante, Mamma Melina Ristorante, and List Restaurant.

Our waiter had an annoyed look most of the time. They were not that attentive and we would wait 5-10mins for someone to check up on us. Way to loud in there to hear one another and the food wasn’t that great. Very mid

They told Open Table we were no-show! But we were there. We even accepted a downgraded table. And we spent $150. Did not appreciate being scolded and demerited but the server was great. And the food was good.

Jensen was a great!
