There was a new chef here named Danna who got great reviews but has been gone since December 2021. The food is likely prepared the same but without the same level of execution. Without the great food you have an older facility with a prime location. Our food was Okay but the tastes were off. There’s better choices in International District.
We had wanted to try this place for many years, and we finally got around to it! We stopped in for dim sum on a weekday evening. It was not crowded, and we were seated right away. Our hostess/waitress was very attentive, and she had a wonderful sense of humor too! We ordered a number of items, and all were delicious. Even better, the prices were very reasonable! I look forward to returning next time I'm in Seattle!
This place is amazing. The view of Lake Union is beautiful. The service is so good and very friendly. They definitely go above and beyond! The Chinese food is delicious, prices are good, and they make the best cocktails. So yummy! We loved the fried rice, crab ragoons, and Peking duck! Everything was so great. I'd highly recommend eating here!!

China Harbor has great food and superb service. The staff are always friendly and no matter how packed the restaurant is they still manage to serve the food hot and in a timely matter. One of Seattle's best Chinese restaurants and great for group gatherings.

From pork to seafood, from veggies to beef, the chef did not disappoint in a single dish we ordered.Chef Danna took the traditional Chinese cuisine to a new innovative level.She greeted the patrons at the table, recommended the dishes of the day and season.
It was one of the rare places open on Thanksgiving. Huge dining area with great views of lake union. Tried the Jing combo, the soup was tasty but the chicken fried rice was a bit dry. Also, they were not serving drinks unless you ordered food.
I've been here a few times and the food and service is top-notch. I also love the style and decor of the dining area -- it looks upscale and seems fitting when dining at a place right at the marina with a view of the lake.At first glance the menu looked smaller than the multitude of Chinese restaurants in the International District nearer to my home, but on closer inspection I realize it's simply more concise in its presentation. It has the staple dishes you'd expect - almond chicken, Mongolian beef, hot & sour soup, etc. - but also has some unique takes on traditional items. I absolutely love the green apple honey walnut prawns! Even items with relatively basic descriptions such as "sauteed greens with garlic" were delicious.The waiter was on top of things and came around to check on us several times. After finishing one of my meals I ordered a couple more dishes to go and had special requests, and when our server came to the table he pulled each item from the to go bag to review them and ensure they were prepared as ordered. I have a spouse who can be pretty particular so I was appreciative knowing that our server was as in tune with our special requests as I know my husband would be when I got home with the food.Perhaps because each of my visits was a midday lunch during the pandemic, but the restaurant was pretty empty. Although that made for attentive service and a fast turnaround on our food order, I felt bad not seeing the place more lively considering the positive experiences I've had here.
