Solid portion size and delicious sauces! My popcorn chicken order had so much chicken that I had to get a to-go box! The kimchi fries were also a great size and just packed with flavor. I would give this place 4.5 stars if I could because the food was tasty but I'm disappointed that they didn't have any beer, ya know, the "Mac" to the "Chi."
Yummy Korean Fried chicken! I tried the Korean sauce and the Snow rub on my combo #2 and it was amazing! My sauces dripped down to the fries so in the end I had Korean Snow fries which was like a bonus. I love that they come naked for you to dress as saucy as you want. Really enjoyed them and definitely had the itis afterwards. Want to return to try the popcorn chicken.
Finally, Wings made right. And cool sauce options. My new favorite wing spot in town. Not the best I've ever had but still darn good. The wings have a decent breading and are still crispy without being over breaded. Also not over cooked or undercooked. The inside is cool and updated. I like that there are different levels and I was sitting in the upper area. Very clean for a chicken joint. We really enjoyed the food and overall experience. The workers were so nice.We ordered their lunch specials. Wings please. Yes we got em. We got the combo that comes with 2 sauces each. I like their choices. Can't wait to come back for more wings. Maybe I'll try something else on the menu.Oh yea the exterior is actually cool also. But the parking, meh, this area your lucky to find close parking at darn near any day of time or week.
My fault, I am not familiar with Korean food and they were about to close, so the popcorn chicken was not available. I ordered 2 side dishes that cost me more than $30 Geez! I agree with some comments that they should offer a smaller size for a more convenient price and I read on the menu: corn with spicy mayo, sound good but they forgot to mention all that sugar syrup, I wish I knew would be that sweet, I wouldn’t have ordered. That’s why I think it should have been better to get a smaller size. I also got a fried rice with a very sweet sausage. It’s that common for Koreans to eat so much sugar? I don’t know. Thanks anyways for a new experience
Apparently their dine in hours change on a nightly basis and with no notice. We traveled an hour to come eat here and were turned away because the dining room closed early. We tried to explain our situation and how fast we had come given the hours posted on their website and Google and they still refused to serve us… such a horrible customer experience, management needs some business management lessons.
My favorite wings on the ave. Probably top two within Seattle and top three in Washington. No more alcohol due to some incident two years ago, but they're working on getting their license back. Staff here is often lively, friendly, and chatty. Much of the time they're students as well so it's interactive.Dropping this rating a bit because there is inconsistency in the wing sizes. I'm spoiled when I get the large wings and drumsticks that look like a chicken was on steroids. Sometimes I get disappointed when I get flats that are so small all the meat is eaten in one bite. Also, my most recent visit I had something in my corn cheese (shown). Couldn't quite tell if it was a bone or what but it was hard and yellow. Kind of suspicious but I'll let it slide. The corn cheese here is one of my favorites around town. I haven't found one that impresses me as much but I'm still trying. I order a corn cheese everytime I visit and it's perfect, cheesey goodness. They butter it perfectly and the ratio is the best across the state.House fried rice is pretty standard as much as fried rice goes, but I have some friends who love it so we order it often. It's nice to pair with the chicken, but definitely not necessary as the chicken itself is just fantastic.Snow Wings are addicting. The garlic parmesan is a must have and simply delicious with or without the chicken. I'll even get some of the little sprinkles or crumbs to eat. I'm a big fan of dry rubs though so that's part of it. Soy Garlic Wings are a great choice for more wet wings. They're a bit sweet and also fairly addicting. Those two are my favorite wings for dry and wet respectively.I don't care too much for the spicy but they now have Korean Hot Sauce available at tables. It's the same sauce they use in their Korean Wings so you can just add it to whatever wings you get and get a similar experience.
Not sure what happened, whether the loss of the alcohol license impacted business. The wings quality have dropped significantly. I used to go here to get wings all the time back in mid 2018. The wings were pricey then, but they were beefy with a lot of seasoning.I ordered lately and it does not really hit the same. Wings are smaller. The seasonings are less. Price seems to gotten more expensive. Overall, I miss the old Chi Mac. Disappointed to leave this review myself as I used to be a regular.$12 for medium wings, now nearly $20.
This place hasn't had beer for at least 2 years since getting their license revoked. The staff must get complaints all day long that their huge sign out front saying CHICKEN AND BEER is false advertising. Korean flavoured chicken wings are decent. Other stuff not-so-great. Also can't split flavours with single order. Price increased has increased alot in past 2 years.EDIT: out of our party, one had mild upset stomache and another severe food poisoning to the point of throwing up. Will not come again.
Love their house fried rice and snow wings the most! Also recommend trying the popcorn chicken but with sichuan pepper powder instead of buffalo and ranch, tastes just like taiwanese popcorn chicken!
bomb street food, wings are amazing, love this place
