Food is really tasty, and really spicy, here! I got the Mung Bean Jelly Noodles, Suan Tsai Fish, and Brown Sugar Ice Jelly. The Mung Bean Jelly Noodles were really soft, and has a slimy texture. The Suan Tsai Fish, albeit really good, was really spicy for a level 2; I had to keep asking for water refills (like five bottles refilled) because I gulped down the water with every bite. The Brown Sugar Ice Jelly dessert was refreshing after all the spicy dishes, and larger than I expected. Service was great too! The only potential negative thing I would say is the photos on the online menu aren't really representative of the actual dish you get.
We LOVE this place. We first tried it in Alhambra California and fell in love with it ever since. We’ve visited Chengdu Taste in Las Vegas, Honolulu and Alhambra multiple times and the amazing thing is that they maintain the consistent taste across their different locations every time we visited. We were thrilled to learn that they finally are coming to Seattle and they did not disappoint us at all. The same taste in Seattle too! I don’t know if this is the authentic Sichuan food but definitely the best Sichuan cuisine we have tried.
Spicy popcorn chicken - always!
Overall the food here is pretty spicy and tasty. I made a mistake with this place with Chengdu hot pot but it works out. Everything we had was delicious. The price seems a bit the high end but that is how much it cost nowadays I guess...$200 for everything we ordered, tax and tip, there were 5 of us.FYI, they closed super early even on the weekend so make sure you give yourself over a 1 or 2 hours window before closing time. Because they will kick you out. I wish they tell me that when I call to make a reservation.
Short:The dishes were expensive, extremely salty.Long:Salty. Like kidney stones salty. I never complained in a restaurant and had food sent back. It wasn't even a choice, I gave them a second chance. It was better, still super salty on the second try. The server was really nice about it. So one star for the service, and one star for the well lit atmosphere, and tables were clean. I tipped 20% on $100 it came with 3 dishes. I am writing this review because I am home with a dry mouth due to salt.I am not going back. There are far better restaurants than this place. I believe most of the 5 star reviews are fake.
Very delicious, authentic Chengdu food. Felt like a taste of home. So many delicious dishes it was hard to decide on which ones to get, but everything we got was delicious. Nice full menu with appetizers and side dishes and lots of meat and seafood and veggie dishes plus rice and noodles dishes and dessert and beverage options as well. Also like the cozy cute interior with little dividers so each table space had more privacy. Clean and Covid friendly with auto temperature taking machine at entrance. Friendly waitstaff. Overall good experience and will be back next time I’m visiting again.

Fantastic!!! The toothpick lamb was super tender and full of flavor! Popcorn chicken wasn’t bad either.The fried fish and beans turned out kind of soggy but that was partly our fault since they were in closed containers for a full hour. I’m sure it would be way better if eaten during dined in, but there were a lot of people in there.You can place your order on their website and it took less than 30 mins for us.Would definitely come back again! Tasted authentic to me.
