This place was good. We tried a variety of meat and veggies and was not disappointed. Be careful about the spices we got Medium and it's was spicy. Overall great place and I would recommend.
Yes, while I come in, I know I will be critical about it.First, it’s nice that they do provide some cleaning stuff for clothes and glasses. It’s okay to make it cheap but don’t make it looks cheap.Second, if you have something on menus that not available, update your website, and I don’t understand why it took forever to get to the drinks (since it’s refilledable, I don’t understand it will take 15-20 mins to get the drink, it should be something quick)Third, I told them I’m first time here so I don’t understand the rules well, and they bring our food in the back of us and didn’t told us that’s our food??? I thought it’s other tables food, WT..Fourth, Sesame sauce are averaged, and the mushroom broth are like WTH is even that??? BTW the refillable drinks are horrible that’s why they are refillable.Mushroom soup taste like cheap stuff you can ever find in your life. And on and on and onLike I can just find everything so bad about them. What’s good?Pork broth is good and I know why, because they put a lot of white pepper which is a cheap way to make everything taste good.
Decent hot pot spot. Their signature spicy broth has a pretty unique mixture of spices and is super fragrant. They have some top quality service here--very accommodating and quick. The meat is here is fairly regular though. They don't serve any special cuts or anything. Overall, not a bad place to go to get your hot pot fix
Didn’t wait long to be seated since we went around 3pm (after lunch and before dinner). Food was presented beautifully, and delicious!!! Loved the refillable milk tea :)
I last time I had hot pot was back in China. Chengdu Memory was the perfect place to get that hot pot experience with an atmosphere that made me feel like I was back in China. The food was excellent and came out quicker than we could eat. It all tasted great and the waitress was a great help and very kind.It was full of Chinese people which tells me they approve of the authenticity and quality of the establishment. What a perfect way to celebrate my birthday. I highly recommend here and will be going back.
Delicious but quite pricey. We tried their Chengdu special spicy broth and mushroom broth (medium spice level 2/4). The spicy broth was way too spicy to cook any vegetables in. The chilli oil in the broth ends up clinging to the veggies and makes them way too oily and spicy for standard consumption.Their Chengdu spicy broth can be good for cooking meat, but not vegetables. The mushroom broth was delicious with a nice scent of chinese herbs but not overwhelming. We ended up drinking the mushroom broth at the end because it makes for a nice stew after cooking food in it, but is not too high in fat since the base was mushroom and herbs. Expect to pay $50 per person without drinks.
We discovered this place a little over a year ago and it's been a favorite ever since! Great food, great service and a unique experience. The meats are quality, the veggies are fresh, the broth is good, the sauce bar is a must. It's definitely worth the stop. Side note, this place gets packed and can have a waiting list. For bigger parties a reservation is a good idea.
Wow, the hot pot here was so good! The sauce bar has some free appetizers like sesame balls and nuggets. The meet was delicious. Be careful about the spicy level, we felt we were good at handling spicy food, but even the mild was super spicy!
Sichuan spicy, great flavor, gram-worthy meat plate, amazing serving staff! Their restrooms are so equipped: mouth wash, perfumes, nail polish, and so on! I came back to my table and my jacket’s covered and protected! Their bottomless milktea kept me going with pushing through the spicy !
Really delicious hot pot with a lot of frills and extras. The meat was pretty good quality and the broth was decent as well. You order a lot of stuff a la carte and it adds up so this isn't a cheap place to dine. The sauce bar is pretty fun making it yourself too. There was a lot of thoughtful attention to details during our experience here and some of it is just excessive (in a good way?). There's a nail polish station in the waiting area and they make sure to put a coat cover on your jacket so splatters won't get on it, among a lot of other things. Most of the staff don't speak English too well though and I don't speak Chinese so there was a slight language barrier.Food - 8/10Service - 9/10Experience 9/10Value - 6/10 ($80 for 2)
