I happened upon this place by chance on a rather cold, wet day. I've never had Ethiopian food before and did not really know what to expect. I could probably have come up with a better combo than the lamb stew and red lentils side, which also came with some cottage cheese, but it was all incredibly tasty!! I hadn't expected to be eating with my fingers and wasn't very neat about it, but the owners were very relaxed as I fumbled with my izjera... The portions are very generous and I was finally defeated, leaving me with some leftovers for for tomorrow.... The spiced coffee was also delicious Very charming owners and a great introduction to Ethiopian food.
The food is delicious and the customer service is perfect but The food made me sick. The oil is greasy.
Truly lovely owners, delicious food, this is really a gem! Not too spicy and always fresh veggies. Definitely a star of the neighbourhood. Very nice to get take out and go eat it in the park, too.
Excellent food and service! We ordered the honey wine, bamia beef, duro tips and yebeg Alicia Firfir- all of which were so delicious!!! Recommend to anyone wanting to try authentic ethiopian food at a great price!

I absolutely love the food here! After trying many other restaurants over the years, I don’t get Ethiopian food anywhere else in the Seattle. Hands down the best flavor and potions! The owners are very nice as well.?

Very interesting experience. I’m sure a private business has the right to do whatever. But I don’t tolerate Islamophobia. The owner told us we couldn’t pray salah. Even though we weren’t bothering anyone. I’m shocked, what a terrible experience.
