Great location with an amazing view of Seattle. Breakfast was good. French toast and the fruit plate were amazing.
Food was tasteless. The waiter knew how to deliver excellent service.

You cannot beat the views. We were given a well-informed overview of the prix fixe, and ordered a specialty cocktail, which I think took so long to arrive, bc we were there at 5p, and the bartender may not have been saddled up yet. First course was like a prawn ceviche - and though I came with an appetite, the more like bay shrimp were still translucent and slimy in a warm vinegar - and just were not tasty. The main course of halibut came around 20 minutes later, which is just long enough to be annoying, if youâre still starving. When it came, there was a immediate coif of fishiness. It was rare, maybe 6 ounces and barely warmâ¦smelled fishy. Neither of us (originally from Alaska) finished it, bc it just wasâ¦unseasoned, kind of slimy poached halibut. It was sitting in a stock with fiddlehead and half a mushroom. Againâ¦meh. Now, though it took two hours and we woofed it down to go to the Candlelight concert, the lemon tart, wrapped in matcha with meringue sculpted into a rose with a vanilla cookie ring - with a steam under glass presentation was a delight. My friendâs raspberry soufflé was pink, eggy mooshâ¦,but the bread and lemon tart almost made the $354 of cold fish worth it. Full circle. Our experience of Charlotte bummed me out. I had been looking forward to going for a while.

Amazing experience and atmosphere. The food was delectable and presentation was impeccable. My server was quite amiable, but I believe I was served by a hostess and not a standard waiter/waitress. When I was served I did not consistently receive an explanation of the items as is typically found in such establishments, but I did not find this to be of much significance towards the overall experience. The view was breath-taking as noted in previous reviews.
Roxanna was awesome and such a knowledgeable hostess. So glad we were seated in her area. Devin was just as fabulous. Everything was very good although it seems like you are under staffed. Breakfast took a long time to come out of the kitchen but that was ok because we were really enjoying the views of the water. Also it took about 20 minutes to get a to go box. We asked the manger, the busser, the other waiter but didnt get the box until Roxanna came back. She got it for us not long after we made the request of her. All in All. The Charlotte is no Ascend Restaurant (Bellevue ) but it was pretty good.
