The best Philadelphia cheese steak sandwich I've had hands down on the west coast !! The cheese whiz did the trick, and the mushrooms Richie steak is absolutely delicious. The only thing I'd have changed is toasting the bun so that it doesn't get soggy so quickly absorbing all the cheese and juices on a take out order instead of eating at the booth outside food truck.Definitely coming back for more !!!
Best cheesesteak I’ve had outside of Philly. This is coming by someone from PA that has ate their fair share of Philly cheesesteaks. The meat they use has that salty seasoned taste you crave with a cheesesteak. I had the peppers steak with onions and American cheese. The cheese was melted perfectly. The bread they use is super soft and held together pretty well.Overall 8.5/10. In comparison I’d give a 10/10 to Daleassandros In Philly
Solid, but not perfect. Sandwiches were packed with steak, but light on cheese and onions. Would have been better with twice as much given the amount of meat. Too many bites lacked cheese or onions. Tasted good, though,. and it was super filling. You can skip your next meal. Also, the roll was a decent approximation of what you'd get back in Philly.
Okay so I wanted to add pictures to this post but I ate the damn food too fast to even consider it. Calozzi's continues to be my top spot for cheese steaks, make sure you get the whiz. I highly recommend the Donnie which has mushrooms, ask for the onions too!! seriously go here and eat this food, it will warm your soul.
Georgetown has many gems and this is one of them. You won’t regret anything here.Nice hefty sized sandwiches put together with care.Reasonable prices too and you got a solid lunch.
When you make a call in order and see a bunch of people outside waiting for their cheesesteak—then you know this place is going to be solid. Honestly the best cheesesteak I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve been here twice so far. Each times gets better. I love this little spot in Georgetown.I really wish we had one in PDX so I don’t have to travel so far to order a legit cheesesteak.
I wish I could have taken a picture but it disappeared FAST! SOOO GOOD. I've never had a cheesetsteak that's this good! I can't wait to go back! A little expensive ($18) but damn.. I had the regular steak sandwich with Cheesewiz and provolone. Take away only, outdoor seating.
I've been going to this place during lunch breaks for years and I'm sad that I don't work nearby anymore, but I make a point to stop by any time I'm in the neighborhood. The employees are friendly and helpful and the food is always delicious. The cherry peppers are a nice extra touch!
Absolutely satisfying. Authentic. Massive portion ( no half filled bun). The mushrooms seemed canned. Not that my preference for fresh mushrooms will keep me from returning. If you are from the East Coast, get to Georgetown post haste!
Pure joy opening up one of these bad boys. Big enough to split but get your own! Will definitely be back.
