When at the Convention Center, this is my go-to for morning coffee. I recommend this shop to anyone in town for an event and staying nearby. Starbucks is great, but Ladro is a step above, and a bit off the beaten track.
Excellent coffee! I had the mocha and my wife had the Ladro coffee and both were so good! Also had the burritos which were good but obviously not comparable to San Diego's incredible Mexican eateries. We had the artichoke quiches and espresso coffee cake the next day and those were delicious!! Yummm
More than half the time I place an online order it gets cancelled. Today it was cancelled because there busy. Couldn't you fill my order then turn off online ordering?
Got two cups of beverage here. Beautiful natural light inside. Service was good. Their coffee card system is great (2 free drinks after purchasing 10 drinks on their own loadable card).

Got a soy chai, not very good. Breakfast burrito was still cold in the middle. Was expecting more from a coffee shop downtown. Very comfy chairs. Inside is pleasant to sit in and drink your coffee.
Coffee is great, service is really friendly. Turnaround speed and prices are pretty decent. Definitely worth to check out if you've got one near your path, which is likely, they've spread throughout the city for a reason!
