Very nice and cozy place with friendly staff. Was impressed to see Turkish people running the kitchen what makes the food authentic. We were not really hungry and therefore ordered only quick bites/sandwiches. Real food that was being served to other patrons looked really good and as confirmed by another friend who went in after us was very delicious. I would not order Döner sandwich/wrap was slices of warmed up restaurant depot gyro that I was quiet unexpected for 16$ sandwich. Will try actual Turkish food next time we visit Seattle. Great ambience!
Tucked in a high rise bldg along Freemont St. In Seattle. Parking is very limited. About 3 spots in the back & 2 in the front plus two 15 min pick up spots. The place is across the marina where you can park for free. You just have to walk across the street, up and down hill. The restaurant has a little stand for Turkish grocery items and sweets at the entrance. . The ceiling is decorated with beautiful & colorful lanterns and umbrellas. The walls have framed pictures decor. The menu is posted by the door or you can scan the QR code on your table. It's a bit pricey but the flavors are good. Salads and pizzas are good as well as the different kinds of hummus. They serve water right away and they use paper straws. The rice is so ? savory with buttery flavor with herbs. Chicken fries with bbq sauce is quite an appetizer. Its like a single meal ?. The salad has a great mixture of different greens and vegetables with roasted cauliflower. Well plated salad from cold to warm together. The little pouch pasta with ground beef inside has an awesome flavor and presentation. Overall, it's a satisfying dining experience if you want different flavors instead of just the daily fast food choice. When or if you feel like spending a little bit more.
Food is delicious and the ambiance is really good and cozy. We ordered Turkish coffee, Rainbow Hummus Platter, Tavuk shish kebab, Beyti kebab with chicken and Ali nazik with chicken. Must try rainbow hummus and Beyti kebab. The pita bread is really good and soft. The kebab comes with salad and rice. The quantity of one dish is good for one person. We went there for lunch and we have to wait almost 1hr after ordering the food. Apart from that overall experience is really good.
Ambience totally gives a very good feel. Food is good too. Hummus platter is worth trying, different varieties with different taste.Rose mocktail is a must try refreshing drink! Falafel sandwich and Chicken sandwich is okiesh
Had an amazing experience there with my father who visited from out of town! Ordered 3 things , 2 pita wraps and the the lamb plate recommended by the server with salad and rice. Fries were delicious but not worth the price in all honesty. It was amazing. We ordered Baklava and turkish coffees, the waitor brought out complimentary tea and cake (in celebration of my dads birthday) and we celebrated! We will definitely go back!
Great service - We could customize our entrees to swap out the rice with a salad instead. Tried the Ali Nazik chicken - the spice mix on the chicken tasted really good with the yoghurt, the capadocia shish kebab - less protein(2 skewers) and the kebab was a little dry, kiymali pide(pizza) meat loaf - this had very little protein too(unlike the picture ;)) but the bread was soft and it tasted good overall, the yoghurt based drink was lightly spiced and paired well with the entrees.
The food was delicious!! My friend and I ordered the Spinach Hummus, Zaatar Flat Bread, Grilled Eggplant Durum, and Manti. Best food I've ever had!! Our wonderful server, Mehmet Goze, was just the best. He was kind and funny. He made our experience here one of a kind! We are definitely coming back for the food and to see him. He's a gem!
- Service speed: Fast, I had my appetizer in 5 min and entree in 8.- Service quality: Not exceptionally friendly, but courteous- Food quality: Fresh and delicious, especially the cauliflower. I've had better tasting donor kebab pockets- Value: Competitively priced
Food was decent overall, but the salad was a bit too sour. The rose mocktail is great. All the meats, especially the lamb, were nice and tender so positive feedback on that. The things that stand out the most are certainly the ambience and the artwork.
So friendly and cozy! Stopped in for just a bite and Turkish coffee. We ordered rainbow hummus: spinach, yam, beet and traditional. They were all delicious. Authentic and can't wait to go back and try more menu items (which were plentiful)!
