Service was great from the friendly hostess to bus boyAnd our waitress Amanda was perfect took very good care of usFood was deliciousI love the butter nut squash enchilada yum , Mexican lemonade delicious as always .Corgis sisters loved the chips .Fun for them too.
In town visiting our grandchildren and wanted to take them to someplace different...Cactus Madison Park was perfect! We arrived at 10:45 on Sunday morning and was able to be seated immediately. The grandchildren loved the decor and their TexMex breakfast. Our granddaughter loved her Churo Waffles (which looked really good) and our grandson devoured his skillet breakfast. My spouse and I each had the Huevos Rancheros and loved it. I finished my meal, which rarely happens for me. So good. And love this "original" location in Madison Park
Wonderful food and wonderful service
Beautiful interior, phenomenal service, delicious food. They had three vegan options, including a dish with squash our server recommended. It was delicious! Would highly recommend.
I was in the area for an appointment and wanted to grab some lunch to make the long journey worth it. Cactus was close, had vegetarian items, and just sounded good -- fits the bill!Easy, free parking about a block away, which is always a bonus in the city! We were greeted quickly and opted to take a seat in the bar. Definitely love the décor here! It's really eclectic, but comes ultimately comes together in its own way. Huge props to how clean everything was!! They definitely keep up on wiping everything down, and that bathroom? Damn, that was clean! I also like how they wrapped the silverware up. Everything we needed for our table for 2 was in cling wrap with a little note stating that it was created in a sanitized in environment with PPE.I went with the jackfruit tinga tacos. I definitely like that they not only have veggie options, but it's not the super standard grilled mixed veggies. Tacos come on homemade corn tortillas, which were really good! I'm kinda surprised that they didn't do the double layer that you typically see for the small tacos - where you don't have to worry about anything falling out because it just makes another taco! No worries, I'm armed with a fork!thankssss
We love the cactus restaurants. They work as a team, are family oriented and have amazing food and drinks. You can go to any of the restaurants and you will get the same quality food across the board. ❤️
This is our fourth cactus location that we've visited. Its absolutely a family favorite restaurant and the Madison Park location was on point. We had seven people in our party with a walk in and got sat immediately. Every single member of the stuff that we interacted with was wonderful and all of the food was perfect. We had all sorts of mods and they got all of it correct and out in a very timely manner.
Solid Mexican food using good materials. The flavors lack a little punch. The spices feel not quite right to me. Great service. Nice outdoor seating. No wait Saturday lunchtime. Dogs are allowed on the patio.
Unique menu, spectacular drinks, friendly staff
Okay, so we utilized outdoor seating and I never saw these amazing tiger-striped booths. I'm so disappointed in myself. That said, they have heaters on their outdoor seating. They gave me free guac after accidentally bringing me the wrong kind. Carlito's wins, for the record. So much variety! AND THE STAFF!! ❤❤❤ Date mentioned it was my first time there, so they brought me the best flan I've ever had in my life and told me I have to be back. I will! So much around in this absolutely adorable stretch of town in the middle of the city, including the beach, where we took our leftover fry bread and honey butter to enjoy dessert with a view.
