We come here regularly and love this place. The outdoor space is great when you catch the weather and it’s easy enough to grab something to go when you don’t. The food is very reasonably priced, especially in Seattle, and all tastes pretty great. The veggie burger option is delicious, and the shoe string fries here slap. One side of fries is probably enough for two, unless you’re both hungry.
Nice little smash burger with tasty fries. The burger is good, wish it was a tad bigger - but you can order an extra patty if you'd like. The fries are what I remember McDonald's fries used to be back in the day - thin, crispy, with an enjoyable taste. The Montlake location is two permanent food trucks with outdoor tables (some covered, some not). You order at one truck, and pickup your food at the other. A cool vibe for summer nights. Plenty of free street parking.Be prepared to wait for a few minutes, it's definitely cooked to order. You receive a buzzer that will light up and vibrate when your food is ready.
Loved the food and the setting is perfect. Definitely a little slow in getting the food so would suggest ordering online ahead of time. If you're not in a hurry, though, there's decent outdoor seating options and it's a nice place to kick back!
Excellent, excellent ambiance and awesome service. The burgers and fries are such a great quality for fast food, and it was just lovely to talk to the cashier and get his take on the menu. Everything he recommend we loved! Definitely passing this place along to family/friends!!!
I like the atmosphere and food here. It has fake grass and picnic tables -- as if it were 'Seattle summer' all year. I like eating at Burb's even on the cold and rainy days, because it holds onto the memories of last summer/hope for next summer. I need that sometimes. I can eat here when I'm sad and I need a comfort burger, and nobody really bothers me and there's no obligation to be interested in "the game" or fit into whatever bar scene. You're outdoors, so whatever goes, ya know? It's just a nice burger spot and it's outside.My go-to is the cheeseburger. The chicken burger didn't really do it for me (preference) but if I come back to a place to eat alone, that means the food is solid.My other favorite part is that when I don't come here alone, the fries order is large enough to share. Yes, I am a fry stealer. I'm sorry but at least here at Burb's, I don't have to be that sorry.
I hope this construction lasts forever, because these burgers rule, the little patios are cute, and there's a semipermanent portapotty I could theoretically shower in. Also, note for the first timers, order at the left food truck. The cook in the right just wants to cook the food.
Nothing fancy, just the basics executed in a beautiful way.. absolutely delicious burgers, and I'll be dreaming about the Burb Special until the next time I set foot in Seattle again! I'd post pictures of the burgers, but I was too distracted devouring them to even think about it lol
Wow, what a great place with great food in the middle of the Montlake mess.. will definitely come back again.
Food is good, but the place is a space case. Hours for online orders change by the day, and some of the staff are just tuned out. Tonight I asked to leave out the onions, and I was treated like I was a pain for the guy up front It’s my hood, so I deal, but they could be so much better.
Best place for a super quick delicious bite whether you're a contractor on lunch or if you're in the area, shoot, I think it's even worth it if you have to make a trip, would recommend 10/10
