I was surprised how good the spicy pork was. It was like authentic Korean food. Sauce was perfect and went so well with white rice. I loved it had small side dishes, boiled egg, and salad all together in a box. Their grapefruit honey aid was super refreshing as well. The server and owner were sweet and kind. I can’t wait to go back to try other dishes on the menu.☺️
Rose cheese katsu taste amazing. Love how cheesy they are, matches perfectly with the crunchy katsu.
Cute small place for popular Korean food. I had the the rosé cheese katsu and it was super savory. The drinks are expensive but they tasted good and were pretty. The service was pretty good and the food came out fairly fast.
Absolutely YUM! If you're looking for an affordable and quick lunch spot, Bugis is it!The grilled pork belly bowl (lunch portion) was perfectly crisp and satisfies that juicy melty fat craving, with rice and radish to help with the fattiness! The katsu also perfectly crisp and the cheese was oh so melty! I wish I had ordered this for myself. The sausage was also a nice tough to vary the flavor. The tteokbokki was soft and chewy, as any tteokbokki you'd have in your dreams. If you like carbonara, you'll love this!We dined in, so the food was perfect. I can't imagine eating this in a to go container after the food becomes a little soggy. 100% recommend dining in! They also have complementary cold and hot tea.
Tasty and comforting Korean food. My favorites are the rose katsu bowl and spicy pork bowl. They are filling and very delicious. One time I got the rose tteobokki which was good but the portion was rather small, so I don't think that was worth. Overall would recommend!
So so good!!! Can't wait to order again. I got the cheese katsu and spicy pork bowl and both were phenomenal!!!
Have tried spicy pork, spicy chicken, and cheese katsu. Katsu was soggy but other than that love them :)
Wow. WOW!!! :) I'm Korean and saw "tteokboki" on a sign, which caught my interest.Oh my GOD...the rose katsu bowl? Best thing I have eaten all year. It's familiar in a Korean sort of way, but also very new and interesting. The combination of pink pickled veggies, egg, rice, cheese, and katsu was so delicious I couldn't even speak.I TORE through that food after the first bite omgggg.I'm only leaving this comment bc we got the food to go but I want the chef to know that I will be back next time I visit Seattle. I LOVED it.Really REALLY great stuff all of you. Thank you for the best meal of my year. It made me feel at home.
Sad to say this was disappointing. I ordered the crispy tofu/crispy eggplant teriyaki bowl. I ended up with just tofu, and it was actually quite soft. My partner got the rose cheese katsu. It came quite bland, barely warm, and just generally underwhelming.
Everything is good here. I got the honey citronade and omg…. I’ve never had anything like it but it’s SOO GOOD. And I had to try their tteokbokki and it didn’t disappoint.
