It's a very unassuming place as you walk up to it, but once inside, it's your typical Thai restaurant and decor. Plenty of seating in the two rooms and at the small bar that they have in back. Kind of dark inside, but it works here. We sat at a table right next to the open windows, which was a nice touch actually. The service was fast and friendly and they constantly checked on us to see if I was on fire yet ? We came here for lunch and had the crispy garlic chicken with fried basil leaves on top...yummy, and the chicken basil fried rice. It was sooo good, we came back for dinner the following night! We walked in and sat right down again by the open window, without a reservation, but boy howdy did it fill up fast! Timing... We had the green curry with chicken, the Thai fried rice with pork, and one of their Signature Dishes...the lemongrass chicken! Wow! The flavors, and oh yeah, we had our spice level at a 1 on a scale of 4... perfection. Very convenient location and even better food. We'll be back before the month is over! You should do yourself a favor and eat here too.Vegetarian options: YesKid-friendliness: Not reallyParking: Limited and on the street nearbyWheelchair accessibility: Yes
This must be the best Thai restaurant in Seattle. Creative menu, yet, still based on authentic Thai traditional recipes. Fresh ingredients and reasonable price.
Came here around evening with a party of 8 (they didn't have a big enough table and had to merge two tables). It wasn't super busy at the time so we got seated pretty quickly. Food came all at once and was relatively quick as well. We had a cripsy pork disk, a pumpkin curry, a crispy chicken dish, pad Thai, rice and some kind of pork stir fry dish (forgot the name of it). This was the second time I've been here and it was still really good; probably one of the best Thai places I've been to. The crispy chicken dish is a definite must try! Really crispy chicken with a nice savory flavor. I will say that the chicken was a little bit on the drier side. Otherwise, everything else was really good. Buddha Ruksa is a must try restaurant if you're in Seattle and craving for some Asian food. Can't wait to come back and try again!
Crispy Garlic Chicken and Green Curry Brisket are phenomenal! Passionfruit Mojito was a nice balance. Skip the apps and go straight to the entrees.
Enjoyed the cocktails and all the dishes we ordered were phenomenal. The mild spice level was perfect for a novice like me - enough to get your tongue dancing but not so much as to prevent you from eating their yummy food. Ordered the special pork belly dish, the seafood Tom Kha, crispy duck Penang, crab fried rice and I would recommend all of the dishes. The crab fried rice was light, had big chunks of crab and was not at all greasy. Highly recommend and don’t forget dessert.
Crispy Garlic Chicken and Pad Kee Mao are highly recommended. Good service and timely serving of food. Staff stayed over time as we stayed over time and I really appreciated their patience.
I'm totally guilty of being the type of Thai Food customer who orders one thing at every place and judges the entire restaurant accordingly -- but holy cow did they get my thai basil fried rice RIGHT. The seafood was cooked perfectly, there was plenty of basil (some of it crispy fried, yum) and a perfect balance of sweet/savory. Next time, I'll try another dish, but knowing they do an amazing job on my favorite means there will be many Next Times!
This is some of the best food I’ve ever had in my entire life. Next time we’re in Seattle this restaurant will be #1 on our list.
portions are huge, everything is amazing. They have 5 different spice levels. the Crispy Garlic Chicken is great for a first timer.
One of the best Thai food places in town. Very flavorful. Great variety of food and all have unique texture and flavors. I'd say the only downside is they are all a bit too sweet to my taste.I'd recommend the steak with sticky rice, special items like wings and prawns with glass noodles. Pumpkin curry is also hard to find elsewhere.
