We were in the area early in the morning and most places we wanted to go to for breakfast aren’t open yet.Pancake was the best. The only item that our group liked - 5 starsEgg Benedict included English muffin (heavily buttered), ham & nearly raw egg white & yolk - 2 starsCoffee was watered down, can’t taste the coffee
About once every two weeks, I take my elderly mom for breakfast at the Breakfast Club on Lake City Way. There's parking in the back, which makes it an easy walk for her, and their food is always spot-on. They have a collectable-kitchy ambiance, and the feel of an old school local diner. The place is truly a mom-n-pop operation, with one family running everything from the kitchen, to the wait staff. They serve excellent pancakes and omelets, but the dish that keeps me running back is their chicken-fried steak. Perfectly breaded pounded steak, with a gravy that is the best country gravy I have ever had, even down in the Carolinas. They serve a diced home fries style hash browns, which is the perfect accompaniment. Reasonable prices on the current Seattle scale of prices, too. Recommend!
So this place gave me some potatoes that had grease all up in them and they're supposed to be hash browns they weren't even hot I heard the microwave go off horrible horrible food, and when the lady realized that I didn't give her a tip she wouldn't even speak to me after I said have a good day I would never eat at this place again. She would have got a great tip if she would have put better care into the food.
Loved the breakfast. I had corned beef hash, my daughter had pancakes and bacon, which she also loved! Quirky little spot, will return
The staff was amazing and very personable. They treated you like they knew you, and it was my first time in. I felt very welcome and would highly recommend going for your first time, and then returning. Lol
Amazingly quirky, and kitschy chic joint.Very kind staff and a very tasty cup o’joe, & good ole American breakfast fare.Oh and there’s free parking on the rear!
Great food and friendly service. Old diner decor and great atmosphere. Our first time there and definitely will come back.
The waitress was so nice and wonderful, excellent service cannot recommend this place enough. Food is downright amazing, and the hollandaise sauce is fantastic. Everything is homemade, there are no bad choices here. Cozy atmosphere, great weather, and generous portions. 10/10 I will be coming here again
Great local breakfast cafe. The food is traditional with local flavors and dishes, and the coffee mugs are huge and the coffee is very good! Only downside is they close at 2 PM ?.
I’ve eaten a lot of pancakes in my life, and I have to say I think the short stack I had here was the best I ever had. They crushed it, highly recommend to anyone and everyone
