Absolute bliss in the midst of its environment!As a Jamaican, this definitely takes my soul home! The Jerked chicken isn’t quite like ours, but it’s flavorful and great for what it is! The fried chicken also different but again, great! Haven’t tried anything else yet. This is well-complimented by the accurate Caribbean vibe the place gives! I didn’t wanna leave!
Great atmosphere, GREAT music, and really good food! With good portions. There’s a fire pit table, picnic tables, vegetarian options, and dog water bowls! This place is a gem.
Burger was superb! It was juicy and delicious. Spicy shrimp was fresh and yummy as well, just a bit too spicy for my taste. I was happy that I could have my dogs with me. When it gets warmer, I will visit again.
I’ve ate at Bongos for many years! Since they have opened they have expanded into even a better place to grab excellent sandwiches and yuca fries! The plates are amazing too! I’ve tried most of their menu and nothing disappoints. Their outdoor area is great with a lot of seating. They even have an outdoor fire pit to sit around to stay warm on the chilly nights. Sand all around the table and chairs, it’s super cute! Dog friendly too. The staff are always super nice too. It’s usually busy but they are quick to serve you. Great spot and don’t let the place fool you even though it’s off aurora. Check it out!
Great food, great customer service, great location, clean bathrooms, nice outdoor seating area. So far I've tried the desi plate, the trinidad steak plate and the ropa vieja plate. Everything was delicious!
AMAZINGI got a Bongo Burger and Yuka Fries and they both were amazing! I’ve never tried anything this full of flavor and just delicious. We sat outside and their outside dining is full of sand and beach chairs and it’s pretty fun. 100000% recommend
Fast Great friendly service and not overpriced. Food is well worth the money. Parking is kinda crazy.. could use more outdoor heaters...
Excellent lunch spot with incredible Caribbean favorites. Amazing sandwiches, plates and sides in a warm fun environment. Outside the sand gives a cool beach feel and the fire pit is an excellent touch in the Seattle weather.
The food here is SO good. I love the spicy shrimp bowl and one of the only places in Seattle you can order tostones. I took one star off because WHAT ARE THE HOURS HERE?!? Last week they were 3-9pm and some weeks they close at 7 or 7:30? Incredibly unpredictable, but if the stars align and you happen to come when they're open, it's delicious and so worth it.
Great sandwich with amazing sauce and a perfect spicy touch, plus banana fries! It's a very good size. A good green lake walk right nearby will definitely help the guilty part. :)
