Chicken Shop Chicken Wings

Ordered the wings, and some flavored wings. Flavor is good, the crispness is real, too hard if that makes sense. Can there be a thing as too crispy? Quality of chicken is okay, but not great. The wings were a bit dry and not juicy.

Ordered delivery on ‘taco Tuesday’. Really enjoyed the tacos! The biscuits with hot honey were quite tasty. The kimchi Mac and cheese was a little too mushy for my taste but it could have been due to the time to get delivered. All items were taste explosions and obviously the chicken is the star of the show.

The two stars are for the the customer service. The cashier was very helpful, patient, and friendly. The food is overhyped. The chicken was crispy but had no flavor you couldn't taste any seasonings whatsoever I was highly disappointed. The fries tasted like fries nothing special. The macaroni and cheese is overhyped I like the kimchi part but it tasted like they use nacho cheese that you would use for nachos and that doesn't belong in macaroni and cheese. The dirty rice bowl was not what I was expecting it was white rice with a runny egg and spicy sauce over it. It was okay. Overall the food lacked flavor AKA seasonings AKA salt and pepper at the very least.. You need more than a nice crunch to make chicken taste good.

The fried chicken is DELICIOUS. So juicy and crispy and it’s entirely gluten free!! I visited while on vacation and I’m sad there’s nothing like this at home. If I’m ever in Seattle in the future I will definitely be back!

Spicy chicken sandwich and dirty tots were awesome!

Order the sesame chicken sandwich with regular tots. Way better than your fast food chicken fried Sammy, not too greasy, and a good size portion of chicken. Tots were perfectly cooked. This place is pick up only. No dining.

So I finally had to try BokBok and I have to say... Not quite the tastiness of say... Chicken McNggets.Greasy, tasteless except for the breading that has a little aluminum canola corn mixture to add to the nauseum. The folks were friendly enough and very helpful and I'm sure they're cooked it as per design. The folks who invited me later explained that it's was a masterpiece of that guy with the bleach blonde hair in TV... And that makes sense as it tastes like what a bleach blonde fake suntan tv person would think of as tasty... And come to think of it... I do have a slight aftertaste of bleach. For this wonderful flavor foray into the bouquet not dissimilar to the honeybuckets at the far side of the lesser Burroughs on the plane of Dis I made out for a measely $40 for two people.Luckily I can not fork out $40 for greasy fat food. And provided I survive passing this brick of grease that is festering in my duodenum... I will not find myself tempted. Please please let their be some new chicken joints opening up soon. This is... A good reason to deal with the traffic out of West Seattle... When one wants bird.Horrors of horrors.Arguably some of the worst food I've had.But amazing what tv programming will get people to eat. We all talk about the horse pills that the fat right convince people to consume for the pandemic... But to me this is a comparable but of programming.Really... Stay home .. make your own... Please...

Madre de Dios that's a spicy sandwich.

The menu is like nothing I’ve ever seen, how was I supposed to choose? … unique fried chicken flavors. Staff super nice. The fry on the chicken tenders was spot on OMG. My tenders were dressed with Fish Sauce Caramel and maybe a little too lightly. I used the spiced honey that came with my son’s biscuit and that gave it more flavor. We also got the salt and vinegar wings ((pleasingly dry sticky skin and maybe not salty enough)) and the jalapeño cheddar chicken which was … a revelation XD like taking fried chicken and rolling it in the powder that comes with boxed Mac and cheese. Cole slaw not so great, too sweet it didn’t balance the heavy chicken. I give this place five stars bc I think it should be experienced, and even if the food was short of perfect I love the concept!

We're used to the mind blowing quality/tenderness/flavors of the U District location. The chicken was dry enough that their "24 hr brine" principal is definitely not true at this location, the dipping sauces we paid were not included, and the "brioche" bun on their sandos was subbed out for a super market burger bun. Will not be ordering from this location again.
